Drivers are untrustworthy and very arrogant. I found a wallet with a lot of money around £1000 and the driver claimed it was his. Funny it was in the back seat. Tonight's driver asked me around 8oclock to pay him upfront. Drivers discretion the office told me. I spent last week around £95 going to work.
Last penny I ever give them. Back to good old Black taxis honest drivers in Glasgow

Booked a car for 8.50am today, I walked outside at precisely 8.50 for the driver to be driving away, he then charges my card £5 for a no show which wasn’t the case.. to state this was a pre booked taxi for 8.50.. furious and the company was emailed to which nothing has been done I.e refund.

I would not recommend paying card with this company as the drivers clearly cannot be trusted.

Also to add once I arrived at Glasgow central it was clear to me that my driver cancelled my journey as there where issues with the trains with ques of people waiting on Glasgow cabs cars.. yet I’ve not recieved my refund it’s crazy!!!

Yeah Uber can be dearer at times but use them over this rogue company which I’ve used for 15 years it’s not the same now they don’t care for the customer!!

Do not use! Extremely unreliable and rude

Their prebookiing function is only for show and they do not guarantee a ridem I've almost missed my flight because of them.

This company treats the common customer like dirt. And from what I heard from the drivers they don't have it much better either.

Their only care is for their NHS and network rail contract.
Other memorable cases;

- had a driver pick me up at wrong address despite the details being correc
- rang me once 10 minutes before my booking to tell me they will leave if I'm not there. 10 minutes is not the time of pick-up and it is unreasonable
- cancelled a trip in the middle of the night just because I couldn't pick up the phone as I was in a place with no signal

i left my phone in car ,got in house and phoned right away. i was told hes going t castlemilk and to cut a long story short, i eventually got my phone back but it cost me another £15 quid on top of what id already paid. he couldve came back b4 going t castlemilk, customer service is ROBBING BULLSH Tcompany policy.

I am disabled. The driver would not stop speaking to another through his earpiece, I asked the driver to help me move the seat back back. I asked politely 3 times. On the 3d occasion he told me to get out of his car. He refused to get my walker and shopping. I asked a witness to observe. She subsequently lied and told the company I had threatened him and hit his vehicle. The company despatch agent known as Lewis said he had no obligation to help me. I reported the driver to the licensing authority who acted as far as the could. Subsequently I found out I had been banned.

1 driver out of many good ones humiliated me at ASDA and I am banned???

GlasGo Cabs do not think the customer is king. Avoid.

In town the driver offered myself and 2 other friends, without a booking, a ride home for 40 pounds.
Upon entry to taxi it was explained that the destinations were uddingston and then blantyre.
The driver happily agreed to this and requested funds upfront which was obliged.
After dropping my friend off in uddingston he also then proceeded to blantyre to drop my friend off. I explained to the driver at this point that I was needing dropped off about 5 minutes further into blantyre. No comment was made at this point with others in the car.
The driver then proceeded to drive down the main road, stop abruptly and tell me that if I wanted to go further I had to pay another 10 pounds as he didn't want to go this direction but another.
I then ended up having to bargin for him.to take me for 5 pounds as I was worried about having to walk home at that Time of the night and for that long. I felt backed into a corner and then I told him this he said well you can get out and walk home then.
I fully expect a response on this or the next stage of action by the end of August is a report to the police for extortion. I was backed into a corner to give this guy more money to take me home when it was already agreed, granted without official booking to take me home.

The taxi driver stole money from us! Do not use this company!
We had a prepaid taxi and the driver took cash from us, without a reminder that it had been paid for already. The company have done nothing about it and we are disgusted with the customer service.

The driver was lovely. Took us to the back of Kelvingrove Art Gallery for the disabled entry without demur. Thought the APP would let me leave a tip but it didn't. I would have tipped.
Seeing the reviews here I may just have been lucky.

Once again I am left stranded me a disabled vulnerable woman on her own I was verbally abused by call centre staff even though they went to the wrong address and accused me of being a no show eh you went to the wrong address I did not even know there was a tesco where they turned up at Ithis time I had to struggle to walk to get a black cab once I recovered from a hupo sparing the hell of my friend and I had to take very important medication late

EXTREMELY RACIST STAFF THAT WORK IN THERE OFFICE iv already posted stuff for all of the people of colour women of colour be aware of this company I was assaulted and in distress and the racist women and men that take calls in the of where disgusting and me and my partner are disgusted in there biggot behaviour

I was told I couldn't leave cab without leaving my phone (only means to call for help if anything goes wrong) as part of a wait and return.
If they had asked for payment up front I would have had no problem paying this but they didn't.

I felt unsafe after that, being effectively detained unless I give up my phone.
It seems dangerous to me and potentially opens a lot of young and vulnerable women open to this system being abused.

Called the company base and they confirmed this is a company wide policy that they tell their drivers to do.

I made a booking for a cab to take me to the railway station as i had prebooked rail tickets. Booking for cab was made 24 hours in advance. Called five minutes after pick up time and was told that there were no cabs available on the south side of glasgow and that cabs were only allocated ten minutes before booked pick up time. was told that priority was being given to last minute callers. Not even a hint of an apology from the person i spoke to, I got the impression that they just didn't care. This company couldn't run a booze up in a brewery. I will definitely not be using this poor excuse for a taxi company ever again.

Glasgo Cabs say they can't rescue a disabled person with a bicycle if the bicycle has broken down, they're cabs are not big enough. Luckily Glasgow Taxis are prepared to rescue disabled people with broken down bikes which means us disabled people can cycle more than a couple of miles from home without worrying about getting home if our bikes break down.

Worst taxi driver I ever had, told me he was at the place I was due to be picked up. When he was not, showed up later.

Then his sat nav took him a longer route, through rush hour traffic, when I said to him his satnav is taking him a longer route. He snapped and said his satnav is taking him that way and I should respect him. I only said his satnav took him a longer way. Added at least 15 mins onto the journey.
Instead of going up the motorway he went through the traffic. Awkward ride and I personally will never ever use this company again.

Cancelled my trip 3 minutes before pick up stating the driver wouldn't pick me up from the BP garage they are happy to drop me off at! This was a pick up at 23.10 so they effectively left me stranded at Glasgow airport. I had to use the airport bus to Glasgow and walk for an hour to get home from the city centre getting home at 00.35.

Glasgow cabs is the worse app ever. I would never never recommend them for even my enemy.

They have great drivers but useless service

They didnt give me opportunity to speak, they just kept talking and ended call on me. I tried calling back and they rejected my call.

Pre booked to be collected at a Glasgow airport hotel yesterday.
No problems with the operator who made booking but received a call at pick up time to be told that we couldn't be collected at the hotel as had disembarked from a flight and could only be collected at airport despite explaining that companions staying at hotel and was walking there with them.
Very rude female operator told me to 'take it up with airport'.
Called uber who collected at hotel within 10 mins and was cheaper than price quoted by Glasgo cabs when I made booking.
I have deleted Glasgo cabs app and replaced it with Uber app.

Awful experience I am vulnerable with metastatic cancer and my wife is diabetic
We booked and gave our location which was prominent
The driver made little effort to find us and by phone was rude and aggressive
Suggest all unhappy clients contact citizens advice with a view to claiming compensation and quoting the 2015 consumer act which bans unfair terms and conditions etc

Ordered pre-booked taxi to the hospital, several days in advance. Needed early morning pickup to get in for an operation.
When I called them to ask where the driver was, I was told that they don't actually pre-book any drivers and they simply start looking for drivers once your stated pick-up time as started! Completely useless. Avoid at all costs.
