The book has been reviewed in speculative fiction publications and embraced by fantasy reading communities whose enthusiasm for detailed secondary world building confirmed that the editorial calibration between depth and accessibility was correctly achieved. The series has already developed a dedicated reader community before the second volume is complete which is the most encouraging possible indicator of the positioning the team established around the first book.

Solid operation. Professional from first contact to final delivery. The contract was fair and clearly explained. The editing was substantive. My book is better for the process. Recommended without qualification to any business professional considering their first publication.

Did not expect to make genuine human connections through a publishing process. Expected professional courtesy and efficient communication. Got both of those and also people who seemed to genuinely care how the book and the person behind it were doing. The book is out in the world now and the relationships made during the making of it have outlasted the production schedule. That was not in the contract and it meant everything.

Nobody from my city has ever published a novel with a real publisher before. Walked into my local library last month and saw it on the shelf. Stood there for five minutes just staring at it. The librarian recognized me and started clapping. Will never forget that moment as long as I live.

This is not a service where you can completely step back. I had to stay involved, review files carefully, and communicate clearly about revisions. Once everything was finalized, the publishing itself went smoothly. Editing helped tighten sentences but didn't go beyond surface corrections.

I worked with Global Self Book Publishing mainly to get my book through the publishing process without technical issues. The formatting and platform setup were handled correctly, but it wasn’t completely hands-off. I had to review files carefully and point out a few things that needed adjustment.

Editing feedback was practical, though not especially deep. On the marketing side, the help was basic mostly advice and setup rather than active promotion. It was useful, just not something that moved the needle much.

This is more of a support service than a full publishing partner. Editing and publishing were handled reasonably well, but you still need to be involved. Marketing guidance was light and shouldn’t be relied on for major reach.

There were moments where I had to follow up more than once, which was frustrating. That said, once issues were flagged, they were addressed properly.
The end result turned out solid.

The first proof needed revisions, especially with page breaks and headers. After feedback, the second version looked much cleaner.

Some editing suggestions were optional, which I appreciated. It felt more like guidance than someone rewriting my book.
