I thought I was paying a minimal cost for a debit card and was instantly charged £59.99 for a gaming site. Thankfully the prepaid debit card I used didn't have enough cash to pay it so it was declined.

These people are scammers take unnecessary money asked for verification on my computer while trying to get it set up for £1 thinking after the verification they would refund my money. But no the took a further £59.99

We tried using an EV charging port in Kaatsheuvel, Netherlands. QR scanned to access it and got charged €1,port didn'twork, 4 weeks later and I have a transaction of €59,99 charged on my Revolut card.Contact number for company invalid. I've reported this as fraudulent.

When I downloaded the parent pay app for my daughters school,I was asked to pay £1 and then I had a transaction under same name of £59.99 waiting for my approval but definitely declined

This is a scam targeting NHS car parking machines and web site parking app.
You lose £1 then £59.90 and get a parking ticket

I parked in the disabled bay at the Endoscopy Unit of the Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading. There was a large, official notice saying disabled drivers must contact APCOA blue badge portal using the QR code displayed, which I did.
I was then asked for £1 and to enter my credit card details which I stupidly did. I then found that my credit card had been debited £1 and £59.99 by gmz-utpa which is a company in the USA which is somehow perpetrating a scam for a monthly subscription. Fortunately I was suspicious and have stopped these payments and reported this as fraud to my credit card company. This is appalling targeting of the vulnerable which needs to be stopped
