Welcome to Gnarly Competitions, the ultimate one stop for prize competitions covering all things water sports! Whether you’re a die-hard surfer, SUP rider, wild swimmer or anything in-between we bring you a chance to win amazing prizes. This business is owned and operated by two surfers from the Northeast of England, Gary Wilson and Jay Duffy who both know how expensive water sports equipment can be! With that in mind, Gnarly Competitions was born with the aim to put top tier equipment in people’s hands at a fraction of the cost! This project is made possible through our partnership with Bob Gnarly Surf Shop - a 'bricks a mortar' surf store located in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear. This is where we operate our Live Streams, draws and dispatch prizes! The store was opened in April 2nd 2022 by Gary Wilson and has gone from strength to strength. For 3 years now Bob Gnarly Surf has been helping people to access the water from South Shields to Hawaii. Over the last three years Gary has grown the business and maintained a killer track record of customer service! But Gnarly Competitions isn’t just about scoring gear — it’s about giving back to the community. A portion of every prize competition goes directly to support UK surfing, water sports organisations and charities. For example, we support UK Para Surf Athletes, helping them access training, equipment and opportunities to compete on the international stage. These inspiring athletes are pushing limits and redefining what’s possible in the surf, and with your help, we’re backing their journey every step of the way!
