This pistol Model 1911 is a piece of crap. They make you put a spring in the barrel. The spring is a pain in the butt to get in. They could just sell the gun assembled. This gun has no moving parts that simulates a real gun except the clip comes out. The trigger and hammer do not work. Such misleading advertising. Shame on me for not checking the reviews. I bought three of these pieces of junk for my son as a gift. They are just display items. Please listen to me. Do not waste you money on Goat Guns

The magazine release broke immediately upon assembly. Since the magazine release isn't a built-part, when it came out, there is literally no way to fix apart from a new item. A card inside the gun says to email them, not return to store. I bought from Bass Pro Shop and since they never addressed my online inquiry, I returned to store for my $79.99 refund

Returning an item to GoatGuns has been a nightmare.

I bought an item, received it fine, and returned it through their return portal under their stated 100-day return policy. Tracking shows it was delivered, and their portal confirms receipt.

I never got my refund.

I’ve emailed multiple times and received zero response. No explanation, no update, nothing. They have the product back and kept my money.

After this happened, I found other reviews describing the exact same experience. Based on that, this doesn’t feel like an isolated mistake—it feels like a pattern.

I would not recommend ordering from them unless you’re prepared to fight for your refund.

It said it was high quality but it broke not even one day of owning it, I must admit that they're pretty bad

the tracking is two different ones and they are both NOT VALID
there is NO phone number
they will SPAM you with emails to buy more
STAY AWAY if you value money

4-5 years ago I was happy with my first purchase with GoatGuns, but they had an EU store back then as well, the products felt worth the price.

Now I figured I'd try ordering some additional things, noticed the lack of an EU shop, but their FAQ said they ship to you within 5-10 business days internationally....
Well it's an ENTIRE month later now, I ordered on the 20th of June and we're minutes away of it being the 20th of July and it's STILL on the way...

The support has been responsive but not helpful, they wouldn't intercept the shipment, they wouldn't contact the courier for me, had to do that myself, the carrier only updates once every 1-2 weeks and when they finally responded they also said they couldn't intercept...

It's pathetic, I've received ebay packages from South Korea and China within 4-5 business days.
I even shipped a package myself to the US west coast and it was there within 10 business days, no special express courier services, just the local post office and the us postal service.

Considering just for 2 guns and some attachments I have to pay 250 (including shipping) they really need to up their quality of service if they want to keep asking such prices.

As it stands right now, yea their products are unique, but if you're outside of the US, don't bother buying here.

Bought the Sig MCX in grey, one of their more expensive models. I’ve barely messed with it and the mag release button flew off when I put the mag in the rifle. Left a comment on one of GoatGuns advertising and they instructed me to email them to resolve the issue. No response. Updated my comment and they claimed they never received my email, I emailed them 3 times, same excuse. They then stopped communicating all together. They take your money and run, leaving you with a defective item.

Although my model I bought from goat guns broke fairly quickly they gave me a free part within a few days! Great experience! 5 stars

Dumb scam company sending spam. Who are you? What are you? I go to my local shop for guns not online.

Please do not by from this company. My son bought multiple guns and add-ons with his birthday money. He was so excited to get them. A couple of parts were broken. We returned them and they have had them for 3 + weeks and have not refunded the money. They should be ashamed to steal from a kid. But they won't answer emails and there is no phone number to call.

After a month of trying to contact them, they actually sent the refund.

My grandson gave his birthday list to both grandpas, so we ended up ordering two of the same gun. I returned mine on 2/3/25. Goatguns received it on 2/7/25. They brag about their 90 day return policy, yet I have heard nothing from them, nor have I received my money back. I have e-mailed them and gotten no response. E-mailing them is a joke as well, because they don’t give you an address to reply to. They say to reply to one of their annoying e-mail ads. So if you don’t get their ads, you have no way to contact them. Pathetic.

Ordered (2) units, never showed up! Seller was no help just a generic response to slow shipping.

Product arrived broken. Snail mail style email. Stay far away!!!!

Deadline schmedline…they ship whenever they feel like it and then stop answering emails. This was the only thing my son wanted for Christmas and it won’t arrive in time now because they waited till the evening of December 19th to ship via standard USPS (I ordered December 15th as soon as our son told us he wanted one, their “holiday cutoff” was December 18th). Yes there are far worse things that could happen in this life, but kiddo has had a rough year and we really wanted to give him this surprise.
I even emailed them offering to make a whole new order and pay for overnight shipping just to get it, but they never replied (funny, they replied to emails until shipping went upside down). My guess is they screwed a lot of folks over with delayed shipping this holiday season, and their inbox was pretty full…not a good look. We were repeat customers till now…oh well.

I was always apprehensive about purchasing a goat gun but decided to "pull the trigger" when they came out with the limited edition veteran special M1 Garand. I received the package and was excited to put it together. As I was removing the various pieces, I noticed the star on the rifle was scratched. This was disappointing, moreso given the fact that the package had a sticker stating it had passed their quality control.

I immediately emailed goat guns and they informed me that they would send a replacement part within two weeks as this was a limited edition and they were awaiting extra parts. Seems as though they knew they needed extra parts because they've encountered poor performance parts on the past. I waited, never received a notification that my replacement part was on the way, so I emailed them asking for a return shipping label and refund as I've waited long enough. I was told that I could proceed with a return and it would cost me a $5.00 fee. I had to pay this fee even though it was a damaged item, all because they offered to send me a replacement (eventually).

So to my fellow veterans, I suggest you don't waste your time on a company who is only going to waste your time and charge you a fee for their mistakes. The choice is yours, but if you're a fan of attention to detail and good customer service, I'd suggest you look elsewhere.

garbage company, Chinese models, broken out the box and absolutely useless customer service. borderline fraudulent.

My wife bought me the 50 cal for this past Christmas. The bipod leg was broken out of the box. I have sent 4 emails to goat guns support and it has been nothing but excuse after excuse as to why I have not received my replacement part. Most of the time its "I dont know what happened but we will get it right out to you. Its been 5 months with no replacement parts so I decided to send them my 50 cal with a copy of all the emails. Tracking shows it was delivered yet I have still heard nothing back. Worst support I have ever encountered in my life. If I could send this higher up in the Chain of Command I would. After 4 guns I will never purchase another product from this company.

I ordered a present for my boyfriend only for the order to say it hadn’t been processed but the money came out of my account and it wasn’t a little bit of money either. Tried to get in contact with them no reply to the email no contact number and when I messaged them on Facebook I got a child like reply with no help whatsoever. Still fighting to get the money back hoping my bank can help since they’ve done nothing. Absolutely shocking and should be done for fraud. Hope they’re all ashamed of themselves and their company.

Received my silver 1911 today quite a bit quicker than expected.Got it together with few curse words and it looks awesome. I've bought several AR's for myself and as gifts and have never been disappointed. When friends visit they can't keep their hands off of them and some have actually asked what caliber they fire! That's the level of detail in these kits. Thanks Sarge
