Preferred the previous system where I could lodge vat claims myself but that’s not GoFile’s fault at all.

Price has gone up since I last looked but it’s east to use.

I had been dreading doing my first MTD VAT return. I found #GoFile on line and decided to try them. The instructions were clear, the filing easy and then I got my repayment within 3 working days. Their pricing is also very reasonable compared to some of the services being offered by companies who want you to think it is a difficult task and you must pay a fortune to use them.

Just did our first software claim. Very easy.

After looking around for software that could handle the forthcoming changes to MTD for VAT., in particular SSAS schemes, I was delighted when I found #GoFile.
On their website, it was easy to look at videos of worked examples, and when I sought help with a specific question, they responded very quickly.
Whilst carrying out my research into possible providers, I contacted other large to medium size companies and to date, I am still awaiting a reply.

I wasn't expecting it to work so well or provide the information it does, truly worth the very small annual subscription and got us out of a very difficult situation. I can highly recomment #GoFile .... definite 5* +++

Easy to use and fast. Asked a couple of questions before subscribing and got answers the same day.

the Service provided by Gofile which used to be called 1 clcik it simple and effective. the annual fee is reasonable but it does seem to me that HMRC have created a problem which seems to me to be something which they themselves could have provided the solution to. If Gofile can make it work, why could HMRC not have done it themselves. They should be looking for ways to make running a small business easier not more difficult.
GoFile have found a way to make a solution to the Problem HMRC created, and I am very grateful for that.

HMRC site describes GOFILE as a free service. In fact record keeping free but lodging tax returns requires an annual subscription. While the subscription is not enormous it does just add to all the other ever increasing overheads for small businesses.

The service/software itself seems fine but as it consists merely of the facility to upload a spreadsheet into an online VAT return it does appear extremely basic. I have no idea why HMRC introduced this requirement (and expense) as A.) I have been filing returns online for years, and B) the PAYE website allows EMI annual return and notices to be filed by uploading the completed (HMRC provided) spreadsheets which works perfectly fine

#GoFile and 1-click (prior name) were simple to use. Only wish HMRC were as helpful!

I wanted to continue with my old sage software and 1 Click Accounts lets me upload and send my VAT return file digitally without the hassle and expense of purchasing and having to learn and set up a new accounting system. I am extremely pleased.

We have just started to use 1Click for our VAT returns and it was the simplest and smoothest of transitions from our previous arrangement. A very straightforward process and great service.
