TERRIBLE COMPANY ABSOLUTE MONEY ROBBING SCAMMERS DO NOT USE THIS APP!!!!

GAFFL is just one more American scam. Total waste of time and money!
First they want to know EVERYTHING about you, from the day you were born, interests, verification of docs, etc, data entry and more and more data entry ... you pay a fee, and i paid for premium for unlimited access, and even so they gave me nothing but disappointment ... and in return, they give you nothing.
And their "standards" are just conservative deadbeat spoilsport censorship: political correctness gone totally stupid!

In a nutshell: real profiles of middle-aged men and fake profiles of attractive women. A shockingly high number of 5-star reviews for what is obviously a scam platform - it seems the review system on Google Play doesn't work the way it used to :/ This is a platform made to prey on lonely men, and it is sad. Why are such things even allowed to exist?

This site does not appear above board. High volume of emails/messages. Have tried to unsubscribe multiple times but unsuccessful. Cannot locate how to stop notifications and messages from Profile settings (no option available). I’ve even deactivated my account and still the messages keep coming. Breach of legislation, surely.

Tried to connect with a few people however something felt off as they all tried to ask for more personal details like my address or where I live. I tried to delete my account however it seems impossible, also there's no way to unsubscribe. Just have to send their relentless emails to spam now. This is a scam, or something super dodgy disguised as a travel app. Do not trust it.

After my credit card company (Barclay’s) flagged GAFFL as a scam, I researched more about the company. The lack of company contact information and only one form of payment, Apple Pay, should have flagged to me this website as a scam. Most profiles on the site are superfluous and no real concrete travel plans are posted.Also, they appear to offer help initially, but when one queries them they are very slow in responding and sometimes not responsive at all.
Beware the GAFFL company and use at your own risk.

For all those who are thinking about joining this scam, just think deeply. Have you noticed all positive reviews here got only 1 review on their profile, it tells they all are fake profiles created to boost positive reviews

All the positive reviews on here are fake. This is a SCAM you cannot unsubscribe at all...

A SCAM. The site doesn't work. You can't unsubscribe. You will get emails from them forever.

Wow! I just signed up for this and the only way that you can do anything is pay for a subscription. That is an instant Redflag for me!!!

I have done 5 overseas trips ,I put on gaffl ,zero response
Basicly it's a complete waste of time

Cannot unsubscribe no matter how many times you click the unsubscribe button. Guess this company has never heard of GDPR!!

App experience has been great so far, managed to have a few travellers contacting me for their visits to my home country!
Cust. Service reps are extremely friendly and helpful as well.

Scammers. They kept deducting money from my Paypal account without my consent. They send you a message saying "thanks for upgrading your account," when you have never upgraded it.

BEWARE COMPLETE SCAMMERS I joined this site as I was going on a long trip to Sth America. Useless site as I gained nothing from this. They then took further money from my bank account without prior consent for " renewal" after 6 months. I emailed them cancelling & requested a refund for the money taken without prior notificatin or consent. This is the response I received - We have a no-refund policy which you agreed to before signing up and paying for the subscription. So, we are unable to issue any refunds.
I was unaware of this as its not made clear. This site is just there to take money from unsuspecting people giving nothing in return. STEER CLEAR.

I signed up to see how easy it would be. After a day I canceled my account but did not receive a confirmation e-mail. I was unable to upload a new image (I chose Facebook to create a new account). I also was unable to simply pick a trip from one city to another in the U.S. My trip was declined! How? One has to follow rules in order to simply pick a place you want to visit. When I visit other sites there is no approval in order to pick a place to visit. Another error I made was giving them my license info. I won't do this again. Not worth it. I will be calling my credit card company (to block GAFFL) just in case they attempt a charge later on.

I used Gaffl to plan my trip to Canada, and I got the chance to make amaizing friends and explore Toronto's nightlife together.

Also, they have prompt customer service, helped me instantly to fix a problem with my hotel booking.
