It is difficult to rate the outstanding weather, magnificent courses and special on course experiences below the organization of the trip by The Golf Travel People…thus I declare a “tie”. The work done by The Golf Travel People set the four of us up for the extraordinary experience I enjoyed with my son, son-in-law and nephew…and therefore “Kudos” across the board. We had the great good fortune to experience only 10-15 of on course very light rainy weather over 5 rounds. The accomodations at The Rosses at Portrush could not have been better…and the reception and courtesies afforded us by the Portrush team were outstanding. The transportation provided by John was dependable, courteous and top notch. I could go further with my comments but suffice it to say…no complaints worth mention. Finally…the Vamoos WebSite is terrific!

The golf travel people are always so patient when we plan our trips.
During the pricing process we inevitably change hotel, occasionally change country and always change golf courses.

We go away in 6 weeks and I’m certain that our trip will be seamless; as have been all our previous trips away organised through the golf travel people.

This was a great hotel and golf holiday. The staff were friendly and the transfers around the resort were first class.
The golf courses were in great condition and playable for all standards of golf. There courses were difficult and playing long but you could always find your ball even in the trees which had no lower branches.

This trip was easily tailored to our need through great communication. The accommodations were top notch as were the golf courses. We were provided with transport to and from the airport and hotels. The cost was more than reasonable. I would totally recommend this group for a wonderful golf trip !

Location is fantastic, lovely hotel with beach across the road, hotel staff are friendly. Pool area with sun and shade under beautiful pine trees overlooking 18th green and the golf course is a good test and not busy. Food was good with 3 choices for starter, main and dessert, breakfast buffet is excellent and the eating area in or outside is lovely. Played El Rompido South Course (15 minutes along the coast) which is very good.
Only minor negative would be the course at Portil was a little over watered in spots although it was high 30’s and fairways were very good.
4th visit in 8 years and it remains very good value compared to the Algarve.

I don't remember how we chose to look at golf holidays on The Golf Travel People website, but I'm really glad we did. We simply had the idea of playing golf in Aphrodite Hills and other courses in Cyprus, with the accommodation being an apartment rather than a hotel, and it was so good in 2024 that we repeated the holiday with more days in 2025. The Golf Travel People responded to every question very promptly, and were as helpful as could be. We have absolutely no complaints, and expect to book with The Golf Travel People again next year.

From the moment we had paid we had the vamoos app activated which was fantastic and constantly had our holiday activities and details in easy reach.
