I live in Louisville ky and I visit the Bardstown road Goodwill and I just wanted to say that I LOVE LOVE this store they have great products at GREAT prices and the employees who work there are great a young lady named Shay is always so nice and the manager Heidi goes out of her way to help me each and every time all the people who work here are extremely friendly and really helpful i just wanted to say THANK you to each and everyone who work at this location

They used to have fair prices but lately I feel they’ve been charging too much so you do not get such great deals

You used to find good stuff but now they just put mostly crap for sale and keep the good stuff to sell them online and to top it off they auction items, I mean like WTH? and their prices are getting ridiculous...

Prices are way too high. Goodwill seems to have forgotten that the items they sell are used and that they have been donated. The prices are too high across the board. Then there is no consistency to the pricing. You find two items exactly the same right next to each other on the shelf with vastly different prices.

Goodwill Warehouse, 4115 S 72nd St, Omaha, NE 68127

I had a horrid experience at Goodwill while shopping in-store on Monday, December 14, 2020 between the hours of 11am and Noon.

While shopping, they announced the closing of an aisle and I thought they were talking about the other side of the store. A young childish female Goodwill Employee: with long black hair, skinny, brown skin (Latina?) and glasses came over to me and began mumbling and stepping closer to me. I asked her to step back and social distance. She stepped closer saying it’s fine. She tried to drag my cart away from me and I asked her to move away. She told me to get out of the lane with large bins moving thru. She was standing at the far end of my cart leaning into it. I responded, “let go of my cart so I can move and attempt a lil social distancing.” She said, “this is 6 feet - it’s fine”. Since when are carts 6 feet long? Note: Annuciate – we are all wearing mask – you know if you mumble, put two and two together and don’t create problems.

(In my opinion 6 feet is the absolute minimum and definitely not far enough, but then catching Covid would kill my family members, so I take special precautions. But you never know -- perhaps I’m clueless and this child is studying to be an infectious disease doctor...I’m guessing that’s doubtful).

After tugging the cart away from her I moved out of the aisle.
I then shopped for a couple more minutes and realized I just didn’t want to be in this store.

I went to check out lane where a different employee was behind the register. The girl-child Goodwill Employee accosted me again! Ghetto much? She came over to the register and stood on the scale to check out, claiming once again “she’s far enough away” and “your rude ”. I asked her to please step back (again) and she told me I could leave without my purchases because she felt I was being rude asking her to social distance. She began arguing with me - this child that had no business being in my interaction with the cashier. She then called the manager stating her manager would be backing her up. I told her I would be the one speaking to her manager about her behavior. I repeated the story to the manager who didn’t even bother to talk to the employee, suggesting to me this behavior is not out of the ordinary.

The fact that an employee baited me attempting to pick a fight in what can only be called an immature act of having to “be right” is absolutely uncalled for. She had already irritated me with her immaturity, mumbling and bitchiness. She then called me rude for sticking up for myself and my desire for social distancing. Why in the hell do I need to justify the need for social distancing?!?! Its December of 2020!!! This is who is representing YOU Goodwill. And as long as she is on your payroll - this is who your are legally liable for.

You can tell younger people who don’t take social distancing seriously and the little they do at work doesn’t compare to the general lack of social distancing they do In their personal time. She is definitely one of these. She tried to impose her lack of social conscious on me and I refused to let her do it. I certainly don’t appreciate having to defend it to a child representing your company.

Additionally - if you feel someone is being rude to you, could they be mirroring your behavior? I’m guessing this a person who finds people being rude to her, out of the blue, on a regular basis. I didn’t ask this girl to come mumble at me - but she had no problem coping an attitude. I was forced to deal with someone else’s moronic selfish child. A child announcing people are being rude to them which must make them right. I was being straightforward, direct, I asked “Please” several times and got someone else’s teenage nightmare in response. This child has no business representing any employer, at any level, at all.

There are plenty of people looking for work nowadays - I can’t believe this untrained rude child is getting the job someone with some customer service experience should obviously have.

I bought a coffee pot in Stuart goodwill old winn dixie plaza for 14 dollars and was told by the cashier that I had 48 hours to return it for any issues. The next day I open the pot to clean it and realized parts were missing. I tried to return the coffee pot and was told that I had 24 hours and that I can't return it. These are 10 dollars brand new at Walmart. Good will items are donated then they over price their items. Then they claim they're doing a service to community hiring disabled people but the government gives tax cuts for businesses to hire the disabled. Doing business life this it won't be long before they'll have no business.

I’ve got mixed feelings about the goodwill industries! Online website and things up for auction and sale, are great. I just wish the actual locations were the same! Like here in good ol Washington state, more than half of their stores from Bellingham to Seattle are all over priced! I believe they’re forgetting what their sole purpose in life or what they were built to strive for, and that is in my opinion; the community, their workers, and their families! Not to gauge their communities and people that donate their goods to them by raising their prices so high that no one can even afford a used pair of shoes! Ya know? Tis why I rated them 4 stars!

Went there to the Manhattan, Kansas location last month for a interview and talked to a 👦 guy named Andrew. The place was very nice. Only 2 issues i had was the air conditioning quit working 💪 and he never called me back to let me know the status of things.

I buy used sports books and various dvds all of the time, and they have unbeatable prices, and their shipping speed is very fast and the cost is unbeatable. Thank you Goodwill for helping me find new ways to entertain myself at home during the quarrantine!

Marked up T-shirt’s as blouses to double the price !! When I inquired about it .. I was told too bad that’s how we do it !!! Infuriating! As much as I donate to this stupid place it should be free! Salvation Army will bd getting my donations !!!

OK place to buy items but they keep raising their prices. They also get some of their prices for resale off of eBay and other sites. Also found out that they have smaller thrift stores they have bought out and those prices sky rocketed also
If you want to return something they only give you in store credit

This company always accuses people of stealing. The clothes never even belong to them in the beginning to get everything for free and they are not a nonprofit organization they are a profit organization

No bad experience to share only that they shouldn't charge so much for items they get donated to them. We don't buy furniture from there because we can get nicer stuff cheaper somewhere else. We don't buy clothes from there either because they are charging closer to new prices. It is an interesting place to shop because it has a yard sale vibe but the prices are set in stone so most of the time we leave empty handed. Things should be cheaper for sure! The only goodwill is from us to them.

Too high priced. Goodwill used to be fantastic, but so many of their items are way too high priced. The CEO makes too much money for this to be a charitable organization. I thoroughly understand overhead, but $3.99 for a stretched-out ragged, stained sweatshirt? Come on! I never shop there anymore. There are many local thrift shops that have reasonable prices. Oh, and lest I forget....the smell of that rancid spray they use gags me!

I found a lot of stuff that was from Target for back-to-school season, and for cheap, too! I got a planner, some dry-erase markers, a calendar that I plan to put in my locker, and a Sonia Kashuk brush set that only cost four USD! All at the Goodwill in Maple Grove! The cashier I was at was slow, but she was obviously new to the job.

Good value for the price of the product which was shipped quickly and the item received in good condition.

No bad things to say about staff or produce, but beware of mothers with uncontrollable children and people who throw trash in donation bins.

I go to three different Goodwills in Roseville Ca and Citrus Heights. I used to be a regular there and got lots of craft items.
At all three locations, mothers let their kids wreak havoc in the toy section while they leisurely shop.Guess this is the only place they can get away with it. Because you can't get to the furniture items, I imagine lots of sales have been lost. After the toy section are holiday items, crafts,baskets etc. Forget about going down these 2 rows because they are totally trashed with products broken, on the floor and empty boxes. If you dare to go there then leave your cart in the aisle because either you have to play dodgeball with the merchandise or another person is coming towards you with a cart too and there is no way both of you can pass.
Their prices are way high on some items that it makes you wonder why since most of their donation are free. And prices keep going up. I found other thrift stores around that I started going to instead of here. Shame since I really enjoyed shopping for treasures there.

Back in August I went in their Carbondale, Pa location. The cashier an old bag told my niece she was not allowed to take her bike to browse and told her to leave it at the counter. My Neice informed her she wasn't donating it. The woman told her it would be okay. Well because she always leaves her bike there. Because we go in there at least once a week. This day the woman decided to steal her bike and steal it and sell it. They blamed us and that it was our fault. So I called corporate and told her the woman stole it and sold it for a dollar the response was "everything in the store is a dollar" this does not help the woman stole from us. She stole our property. From a six year old child and she watched her cry. Anyways headquarters condoned the act and compared it to leaving a purse behind. But she didn't. No one would take her purse. We don't live in this kind of area. The woman at the counter claimed she didn't know. We came in there all the time. How didn't you? It was obviously a ploy to take from the child.
They refuse to acknowledge any wrong doing. If only they new this same woman was stealing the donations as well. I have seen her serval times and a few other ppl taking from the donations and loading it to their car. Shameful.
