Commande passée depuis le 11 décembre 2025, pour la RP6 (1er batch). Début de livraison depuis la Chine initié le 5 février 2026. Colis ayant passé le dédouanement français le 13 février et depuis lors, plus aucun signe!! J'ai contacté Retroid à plusieurs reprises, lenteur dans la réponse (des jours passent avant qu'ils ne me répondent). J'ai estimé que mon colis avait été perdu, vu le très long délai après le dédouanement (nous sommes en mars). J'ai demandé une compensation à Retroid (renvoi d'une nouvelle console) mais ils m'ont juste envoyé baladé, sans rien me proposer! Ils m'ont juste fait savoir que je devais contacter l'assurance pour me faire rembourser (Seel). Je contacte l'assurance et on me demande le document officiel qui atteste que le colis a été perdu en transit. Je reviens vers Retroid pour qu'ils contactent YunExpress (Transporteur) afin d'avoir ce document, puisque la liaison se fait entre l'entreprise et le transporteur, le client étant mit de côté. Là encore, silence radio de Retroid! C'était comme s'ils me demandaient de me demerder tout seul! C'est la pire expérience que j'ai pu avoir dans le domaine de l'achat en ligne. J'attends toujours une réponse de leur part

1. Wenn man Day One bestellt ich zum Beispiel am 3. November das Retroid Pocket 6. Es versprochen wird das die Bestellung anfang Januar 2026 los gehen sollen und man dann erfährt das die Produktion erst am 10. Januar startet und man ende Januar noch nicht mal eine Tracking-ID bekommen hat, dann ist das offenbar eine Garagen Company. Kein FiFo also das ist kein Unternehmen dem ich wieder mein Vertrauen schenke.
2. Ich frage den Support und belege das sogar Leute die nach mir bestellt haben in anderen Ländern schon beliefert werden und wurden. Ich bekomme eine KI Antwort die quasi nix sagt. Nett, echt nett.
3. Im offiziellen Discord Kanal werde ich sogar ignoriert von den Mods und Admins. Die reden dort viel lieber über Emulatoren und wie toll das Retroid Pocket 6 Switch emulieren kann.
Update, die Hardware ist zwar gekommen und sie ist wirklich ein geniales Stück Technik, aber diese Liefer und Produktions Situation ist nicht ok. Ich habe die Wertung von 1 Sterne auf 3 angehoben. Auch nur weil sich mein kleiner so freut.

Retroid Pocket Flip 2 not arriving, shitty customer service.
I ordered a retroid pocket flip 2 on the 29th of september. It shipped out fast via 4px, but got stuck on the 6th of october. Today marks 19 days without movement. I started out talking to customer service, but they didnt give me a solution. Then i opened up a paypal dispute and now they are trying to force me to close the dispute and use their forced insurance. Huge red flag. Really disappointed, they don't even try to give customer service. Don't recommend.

Poor customer service
I bought the Retroid Pocket 5, and after just a few days of use, games with higher graphic demands cause the console to shut down and erase all my settings. After contacting support, they couldn’t find the cause and told me I had to return the console at my own expense, paying all the taxes again since I’m located in Europe. The device has been defective from the start, and they refuse to do anything more about it. On top of that, I have to wait for the return process, meaning I’ll be left without a console for who knows how long. So it’s basically luck: either you get a unit that works properly, or you don’t — and you’re stuck with it. Avoid at all costs.
Terrible Customer Service
at the time of writing this, i am now at 48 days since purchasing from retroid and i have nothing to show for it. the tracking number hasn't updated in 21 days. customer service is VERY spotty and to a degree non responsive. the courier doesn't respond to emails either. i've opened a case. worst experience i've had in a long time. order from a different shop like aliexpress or something. avoid purchasing directly from retroid.

MODs in the Discord are on drugs or out of their mind. Replying to a picture of a guy disguised as girl i answered with the old star wars General Ackbar meme "its a trap" and they accused me of homophobic slurs and blamed me in front of the whole server, trying to make me look like a homophobic... i was there for the hobby, retro gaming. never said anything negative to anyone, never said slurs, never said anything disrespectful towards any person and they just started a witchhunt on me without elaborating whats wrong with my comment. only talking about their discord staff here, the devices are fine and what i expected. but the mods are either high or loving to power trip on people just for fun. sad experience after beeing a happy customer for years.

Got a rp3+, screen was broken on arrival, 2 screen replacements and a year later, I just wish I was able to get a refund instead of all this headache, and even fully working this device doesn't feel worth the price I paid.
Every single device they have released has come paired with issues, issues that could probably be avoided with better quality checks.
Buy from them at your own risk, I'll be honest it's not like these devices are terrible, it depends if the style, shape and specs are your cup of tea.
But know that your getting a device that will most likely come broken or damaged, or may break within a few months time.
Look at alternatives, spend your money wisely.

I bought Retroid Pocket 2S about half…
I bought Retroid Pocket 2S about half year ago and I'm pretty happy since I recevied it :-) This is my first retro handheld and I have to say the quality is pretty good for a device of that prize. I ordered it with HDMI cable, two 8BitDo SN30 pads etc, all this stuff came in good condition and work without any problems. Initial configuration of handheld is not hard but some time is necessery to spent on it, I recomend to check some resources with instructions on Discord chanel and YouTube.
Regardinng shiping: it took 1-month from ordering to delivery of the shipment (Poland). I used cheaper 4PX courier service, no additional fees or taxes were charged. I think time of delivery is acceptable considering that shipping is from China. Based on shipment log I'm pretty sure that Retroid could improve it, they sent a device two weeks after order so it is a clear space to improve but even without it is OK.
Regarding customer service :I had no problems with contacting customer service, they answered emails within 1-2 days. When ordering my device, I made modifications via email request and there was no problem. I can only recommend them.
Build quality issues...
Retroid make well thought out gaming devices.
Unfortunately the build quality is lacking, I experienced multiple issues with my two devices relating to low quality plastic casing components and cheap analog sticks.
At this point in time I find it difficult to recommend these devices, at least until the build quality improves.

I ordered the RP4pro with screen protector for £171 and it was said to have been delivered to a safe place after being in transit for about a month but I didn't receive it. I spoke to team retroid who just constantly defected from the issue saying it was down to me to speak to royal mail yet royal mail won't deal with me as I'm not the customer/sender I paid for my device on March the 12th and now its 11th of June and I'm still without my device

After a brief chat on discord, Retroid sent a replacement rear cover with triggers attached plus all required tools which arrived around a week later. In the meantime I used a homemade shim so I could keep using it. Despite the defective unit retroid resolved it very fast. Highly recommend both for the product performance and customer service.

I had never dared to buy online on a website like this for fear of payment or delivery problems, but I decided to buy a Retroid Pocket 4 Pro on pre-order and it was an excellent experience since I was able to make changes to my order and had no problem with customer service.
Everything arrived in perfect condition and within the expected timeframes.
