Go Yaalah - Car Rentals in Morocco レビュー 28

This time in Morocco, we did not use the international rental agencies and chose GoYaalah based on the good reviews. Reservation was without any problems via whatsapp. We instantly knew, which specific car, model and production year we would be getting. The car was delivered to our accommodation spot on time. "Sadly" it was brand new car with 3000km only. In Morocco, I prefer a car with few scratches, not to worry about insurance, deposit, etc.
The only thing which is different - they accept cash only payments, bank transfer, or services like western union. We managed fine with Western union.

GoYaalah contacted us few times during rental asking if all is well, giving tips to hide a car due to an upcoming storm, etc. When returning the car at the airport, they were +-14min late, however the returning of the car itself took less than 2 mins and the deposit has been returned super fast.
Long story short - great smaller rental company with fair attitude, not forcing any extra insurance or fining you for a 1cm scratch. Fuel was same/same policy.
I hope they will keep their superb quality and will not have to change their attitude due to bad customers (cancelling last minute, because they dont ask for a prepayment, etc.) And unlike some other rental companies. The google reviews for GoYaalah are real! I noticed, some other smaller rental companies have almost 150+ reviews of 5*. However from google profiles, which have posted 1 review only = fake reviews. Therefore giving 5* for GoYaalah, because they deserve it.

Long story short: they didn’t return 500 Euro deposit because of the accident, which was not my fault. They are liars, bandits and scammers. Avoid!

When travelling around the country, I had a bad luck – another car bumped into my car at the parking at night. I found my car damaged in the morning. I spent half a day at the police station sorting out all the documents. Police report clearly stated that the accident was not my fault. Moreover, before renting the car, I explicitly confirmed with the rental that in case of the accident, which was not my fault, I didn’t have to pay anything.

As I had a hotel reservation in another town on that day, I had to take a taxi to go there. Obviously, my plans for that day were ruined. Also imagine all that stress!

Although the rental provided a replacement car quickly (was delivered at night), they charged additional 100 Euro for the delivery as I was far from Casablanca. Well, ok.

The most important thing is that they assured me I didn’t have to worry about the accident any longer. They kept lying to me till the very last moment. On the day of my flight back I asked them to not forget my deposit (was paid in cash) and the answer was “we never forget about such important things”. So, at the time of car drop off at the airport, they were late by 30 mins. As I realized afterwards, this was done intentionally to leave very little time before my flight departure. Instead of giving my 500 Euro back, they gave me the paper composed by the rental itself (!) saying that they had to retain my deposit as insurance company didn’t cover all their expenses for the repairment. It was also mentioned that I parked the car in unsafe area (I did not), hence, I was partially responsible for the accident. Total bullshit.

There was a scandal. They shouted at me saying I destroyed the car. I shouted at them requesting my money back. We ended up at the police. Fair enough, police told them they behaved incorrectly towards me as their client and their self-made paper was a joke. But police also couldn’t help me either.

Very bad experience, which spoiled all positive impression about Morocco.

Oh, and yes – probably they will now comment that they tried to help me afterwards by providing some documents, so I could try and reimburse through my travel insurance company. However, when I asked to send me car insurance rules indicating franchise amount as of 500 Euro, they disappeared. Heh. I believe you’ve got the point. Avoid!

Très bonne expérience avec GoYaalah pour une location de voiture à Casablanca. J’ai loué une Volkswagen Tiguan et la voiture était neuve, très propre et parfaitement entretenue.

La prise en charge à l’aéroport de Casablanca a été rapide et très facile. L’équipe est professionnelle, ponctuelle et la communication est excellente.

Si vous cherchez une location de voiture fiable au Maroc, je recommande vraiment GoYaalah. Service sérieux et sans mauvaises surprises.

We rented a car for a week - it arrived in great condition at the airport and was super clean. The registration / insurance was all in order and the payment was easy to do (also there were zero hidden charges or costs). The team was also extremely polite and helpful - I highly recommend renting from Go Yaalah.

Great rent a car company! The price was really good, much cheaper than the other car rental companies in Casablanca. The staff was really nice and helpful. They drove the car to the airport, where we picked it up, and they also picked up the car at our accommodation which was 10 minutes drive away from the airport. The car we've got was new (only 100 km). Nothing bad I can say about this company and the employees. If I come back to Casablanca, I will rent the car here again.

Go Yaalah is very reactive and answers promptly to all requests before, during and after the rental. The car we had was in excellent condition, 1 or 2 years old max, with low mileage and fully loaded. The team was punctual at the drop-off and pick-up. The price was reasonable given the quality of service and the car. No surprise requests or additional expenses at the drop-off. I will definitely do business again with them and I definitely recommend.
