Greatbritishgems レビュー

Wow, what an experience we had at Great British Gems!

After getting engaged, my fiancé and I wanted to find the ‘perfect’ ring, and Emma’s incredible selection of vintage jewellery on Instagram exceeded all our expectations.

From the moment I discovered her page, Emma was amazing. Her communication was fantastic, and she was so friendly and welcoming from start to finish. When she recommended visiting her studio for a private viewing, we knew it would be special, but the whole experience went above and beyond anything we could have imagined.

From the intimate setting to the canapés and champagne, every little detail made the day feel extra special. Emma’s knowledge of vintage jewellery is incredible, but what really stood out to us was her genuine love and passion for every single piece. You can tell how much care she puts into her collection, and I knew we were in the safest hands when it came to choosing such an important, sentimental piece of jewellery.

We honestly cannot thank Emma enough for the thought and attention she put into the entire experience. Everything was impeccable, from helping us find our perfect ring to the beautiful presentation, cleaning and incredibly quick delivery.

I would 100% recommend Great British Gems to anyone looking for something truly special, and I’ll most definitely be a returning customer.

Thank you so much, Emma, for making this part of our engagement journey so unforgettable!

Emma arranged a private viewing … and as I had already highlighted a few pieces I was keen to try - she had created a carefully curated selection for a starter … over a wonderful couple of hours we explored deeper into her collection .. and she gave me the time, space and guidance to make my choices . I am delighted with my purchases .. and cannot recommend her more highly.

Emma was so lovely in helping me with all of my questions, & I couldn’t be happier with the ring that I purchased from her! Can’t wait for the next piece that she helps me with :)

Outstanding service from Emma – she made the whole experience so special

Emma was absolutely wonderful throughout the whole process of choosing my new ring for my wife. Everything was handled through online messages, but she made the experience feel incredibly personal from start to finish.

Emma knew that the ring was for a very special occasion and took the time to ask lots of questions to really understand my wife’s taste and what I was looking for. Her knowledge, recommendations and genuine enthusiasm made such a difference when I was trying to choose something that I knew would be really special.

She helped me select the ring, gave me her thoughts on how it would look, and kept me updated throughout the whole process — right through to the ring being completed and ready to be shipped. Her communication was fantastic, and I always felt that I was in very safe hands.

And most importantly, my wife absolutely loved it! She was genuinely blown away by the beauty of the ring, and I have Emma to thank for helping me choose something that was so perfect for her.

Emma made me look very good! 😂

I honestly cannot recommend her highly enough. Her knowledge, attention to detail, communication and, above all, her genuine care for the customer were absolutely brilliant. She is a real credit to the business.

Thank you so much, Emma, for helping me choose something so special and making the whole experience such a pleasure.

Emma was so lovely and helpful answering all of my questions regarding the locket I had spotted on her instagram page/ website. She put me right at ease and I knew that I was buying from someone I could trust and who made the whole experience really enjoyable from the get go. It was shipped to me quickly and arrived beautifully packaged. The locket is even more perfect than I realised in real life. I will absolutely treasure it. Not only because of it being an absolutely stunning antique locket. But also because of the warm buying experience which isn’t always the case these days. Thanks so much Emma. I look forward to my next purchase from you and I will treasure my beautiful locket.

Emma has exquisite taste and a passion for matchmaking people and their jewels. With her impeccable taste, it’s no surprise she has so many stunning and unique treasures to choose from. Know you are in the most genuine hands with Emma, who will give you honest and considered advice. My stunning Guilloche bracelet is a thing of rare beauty and brings me delight every day! Thank you xx

I came across Emma’s shop while browsing Instagram and, out of curiosity, started looking through her collection. That’s when I found the most gorgeous, dainty ring with a pink sapphire — it was love at first sight!

I wad a little hesitant about buying jewellery through an Instagram account, so I looked for the store on the Shop App and made my purchase there. From that moment on, the whole experience was excellent.

Emma contacted me personally to ask whether I needed the ring resized and took care of everything. She was incredibly responsive, kind and efficient throughout the entire process, which made me feel completely confident.

The ring arrived and it is absolutely beautiful — I couldn’t be happier with it. I was so impressed with both the piece and the service that I’ve just gone back and purchased a second piece from her collection.

A genuinely lovely buying experience from beginning to end. I would absolutely recommend Emma and her beautifully curated collection.

Absolutely brilliant!! All round :)
I was nervous buying online without seeing the ring before but Emma was amazing and sent loads of extra photos, was really understanding and made the whole experience very enjoyable. Thank you.
I am also obsessed with my purchase and cant stop looking at it! Beautiful item and I am extremely happy.
I would 100% recommend!

Fate brought me to Emma’s site via Instagram, I was actually looking for a 10yr wedding anniversary piece for my wife. I was a little apprehensive using a site advertised to me via social media, but made contact regarding an exquisite sapphire ring I saw on her website. Her communication was very clear and she provided extra photos of the ring as request, I made a deposit whilst working out ring sizes. Emma was wonderful to deal with. We received the ring this weekend and can honestly say it was better than the photos! The most wonderful piece that my wife will cherish forever. I can already say I will be a returning customer!

Five star service for a Five star product .. We would highly recommend Greatbritshgems following the recent theft of a very special piece of Tiffany jewellery. Greatbritishgems were able to replace our loss with very little fuss and super efficiently… our thanks go to them !

Emma made the whole experience with Great British Gems wonderful. I had a private viewing with a selection of my favourite gemstone rings.
Emma had personally selected each unique ring and was very knowledgeable and passionate.
I am incredibly pleased!
Thankyou Emma

Beautiful gems at incredible prices. Emma has perfect taste

This is a lovely shopping experience care was taken over showing, packaging and delivering the jewellery. I wasn’t shopping but a pair of diamond earrings caught my eye. I’m all for buying vintage and preloved so couple that with Emma’s ability to source beautiful unique pieces I’d recommend Great British Gems to anyone.

My husband thoughtfully purchased a beautiful Tiffany necklace for me for Christmas from Great British Gems. I was so delighted with it. He said Emma was extremely helpful with his purchase. Looking at the website, Emma clearly has a great eye for stunning pieces of jewellery and I would have no hesitation in purchasing from her again. Thank you Emma!

It was our 20th Wedding anniversary looming in December. I asked Emma if she had Emeralds, answer yes, and then gave a description of what I thought my wife would like. It was earrings and a necklace.
To say that she nailed the brief is an understatement. When I collected them I was overwhelmed and in zero doubt at all that they wouldn’t be loved.
I gave them to my wife on Christmas morning and she adores them.
Thank you Emma, a job very well done at a very reasonable price. You may well have kept us married for another 20 years!!! We will be returning! You clearly know what you are doing and what people want.
Ps. I’m trying to see if I can attach a photo. If a random one appears of two earrings and a necklace in emerald it’s from Emma and me!

The stunning jewellery is beautifully displayed on the website. To view such a wide range in the comfort of your home is great. I purchased a lovely pendant and the online process was very straightforward. I felt confident in my purchase and was not disappointed. Emma has a great eye for choosing a wide and varied selection of beautiful antique jewellery.
