I reserved a container for August 21, 2021 which was confirmed and delivered that morning. Everything seemed to be going well until Gaeta came back two hours later and picked up the container before I had a chance to fill it. I was told that the DOT refused to give Gaeta a permit for the container which was located on Bay Street due to the 5 boro bike tour. I had already paid Gaeta the money, given the first driver a tip and arranged for 5 men to come and help get rid of garbage in my house. That all had to be canceled. Gaeta did not do their homework since the 5 boro bike tour had been advertised at least three weeks before my reservation. I'm upset with Gaeta management - not the drivers who were very nice and helpful. The second time around went well.

Quick and easy drop off and pick up, I tried 800-Got**** price change once they loaded the truck. So I called Gaeta they gave me a price and we filled up the container easy. Any future jobs I will be calling Gaeta

my rating might be higher but I'm not really sure how to rate this. How do you rate a service that you have no control over as far as pricing goes? I'm able to negotiate prices with most suppliers/services but for this this service I have no choice and have ti accept rate increases or find someone new. how do you rate a service that wants to charge you $75.00 for an old office chair you want to have taken away knowing that I could break it down, stuff it in a garbage bag and throw it with the other bags and it would be taken away for nothing? There are other things I could mention but mostly they pick up every night with no problems so I give what I give.
