I contacted Green Homes last year and Michael very quickly arranged a survey visit and fully explained the Eco 4 scheme and how I qualified.
Unfortunately we had a stumbling block in that my house was formerly listed as a holiday home, and it took 8 months to get it re classified as a domestic residence.
Once that was done the paperwork was re submitted. It then only took a few months for approval to come through, and installation of insulation, solar panels and air source heating with 9 radiators to be installed.
I had regular contact with Michael throughout.
If you qualify for the Eco 4 scheme go for it. I've had £30k plus of work free. I just opted to upgrade to solar battery storage.
I highly recommend Green Homes to arrange this for you.

Would definitely recommend Green Homes Group and Michael Hall was brilliant. He took us through the Eco4 grant application quickly and efficiently and answered all of our queries and concerns promptly. We had heard some horror stories and even told not to go through with it, but we are very happy that we did.

We had Michael who came out to us and he was great, made us feel at ease and answered any questions when we needed and kept in touch throughout the process. Definitely would recommend they are a great company.

Ben came to survey my mothers house for solar panels and the air source heat pump. He was a blast and very professional. My mothers disabled with anxiety issues but he was such a gentleman to her she had a great experience. I was so impressed, i asked if they would provide the same same service for my disabled friend down the road and had an equally great experience with Paddy. You're in good hands with them. I first made contact with Green Homes Group after a no-show by a competitor surveyor (for whom I'd taken time off work and waited for hours).
A quick google search and I was fortunate to have called GHG as from start to finish, I was met by professional, courteous people who orchestrated all the site visits before qualifying our home for the energy upgrade it so greatly required (we were formerly F-G - a traditional Welsh long-house, the original section of which dates well over 500 years).
I dealt with Paddy initially, but with Ben on an ongoing basis - both of whom are Directors I believe, and certainly a credit to the management team of GHG.
My expectations were at all times effectively managed, with timely and realistic schedules set in place from very early on.
It would be nice to say that the entire experience was 'seamless' from start (site survey) to finish (complete overhaul of insulation and subsequent install of air source system) but with a variety of sub-contractors at play, it's a rarity for no teething problems to occur. What WAS, however, seamless, was responsiveness: the speed to action of Ben to manage and juggle all the correlating sub contractors, to negotiate around changing teams and above all, to be open, realistic on timelines and ALWAYS with the most excellent of client relationship skills and management (just to qualify that statement however, WE never felt 'managed', just our expectations and to that end, they never over-promised and under delivered, as is all too often the case!)
We would highly recommend GHG for those looking to upgrade the energy efficiency of their home or business. A formidable Team of experts in their field, delivering an excellent service with an impressive customer-centred ethos.
Thanks as ever to Paddy, Ben and the team at GHG. The end result of an energy efficient home with significant cost savings is the best endorsement in itself, but it having been delivered in a such a professional and courteous manner made the whole process (which, by its very nature, is disruptive to home life) absolutely worth while!

Michael and Paddy have been very swift to reply to any of my queries (even going through the trouble to respond to messages at the weekend at times!) and extremely patient with my local council and me! I was slightly sceptical about the project before speaking to Michael, as I thought it sounded too good to be true. He quickly assured me that everything would be free, paid for by the Government scheme. This was the case.
We are very pleased with the standard of the work, the new radiators, air source system and solar panels.
Michael answered all my questions and queries knowledgeably and with a kind, caring manner.
From first contact to the work being completed only took about six weeks. Amazing.
I would highly recommend Michael and his team, as we are so pleased with the improvements to our bungalow.

My experience with Green Homes and especially Michael Hall was exceptional. Michael took us through the ECO4 grant process step by step. Initially I thought it was too good to be true, however my mind was put at rest once I met Michael and saw how knowledgeable and precise he was in his calculations. We qualified for a full upgrade of our oil fired heating system. This included insulation, heat pump and solar panels. Amazingly works started within 3 weeks. I had many follow up questions and Michael was at the end of the phone at all times. The introduction to the installation team was seamless. A truly great experience and outcome.

I was pleasantly surprise from the very beginning with The professionalism & competence of This firm & especially one of the bosses at this company, Ben Burke delivered an excellent service it was transparent from the word go no false promises everything he said they delivered on & on time.what more can you ask for

After being let down by another company and speaking to numerous others my grandma had a new boiler installed through Green Homes. After having a negative experience with another company we were feeling a bit disgruntled and apprehensive about trying again with another company. We spoke to a number of others but went with Green Homes as they listened to our concerns, explained everything really well and it didn’t feel pushy at any point. Everyone we dealt with from Green Homes throughout the process were very professional, understanding and responsive. My grandma is in her 80s was very anxious about having workmen in her home. In the end, apart from the inevitable dust! she actually quite enjoyed having them there as they were very friendly and considerate.
