Our marketing team has looked into this and can see that the relevant privacy and consent protocols have been adhered to.

On the final question of the enquiry you completed online, there is a statement that reads;

“By clicking ‘Done’, I agree that GreenMatch and up to 3 local boiler installers will contact me via email, telephone, and/or SMS with details or offers regarding my request and to confirm my information. GreenMatch User Terms and Privacy policy apply.”
(User Terms and Privacy policy can be found on our website)

There is also the option to opt in or out of offers, marketing and promotions on this page too.

The reason we pass on your details to trusted installers in our network is because this is exactly how we get you very best quotes by putting them in touch with you directly.

I hope this helps clear things up for you.

I just want to address an clarify the points you have raised;

1 - The consent box that you did not tick, reads;

“I agree to receive offers, marketing and promotions via email or phone from Leads.io about GreenMatch or our brands and affiliates to help you save. You can unsubscribe at any time.”

This is to opt out of our marketing and promotional offers, which you did.

Just under the final “Get Quote Now” button, it reads;

“Your privacy is important to us. By pressing “Get Quotes Now”, you agree that GreenMatch and up to 4 installers may contact you via email, telephone and/or SMS with details regarding your request and to confirm your information. The following Privacy Terms and User Terms apply.”

Our customer service agents will always try to contact our customers via phone to ensure that we have all the information we need to be able to pass your request over to the most suitable installer for your specific requirements.
This is how we find the very best engineers for your job and what our customers love about our service.


2- I can assure you that your details have not and will not be ‘sold’ to any third parties. The only others that we ever give your details to are our installers, if you decide to proceed to get quotes.
In your case, you did not, so your data is held only with us under strict data protection and GDPR laws (links and terms can be found on our website).

I can see that we have sent your request to 3 of our installers and they should have made contact with you to arrange the next steps.

You will have had an email from us with their details, so you can make contact with them directly from there also.

Please accept our apologies if they have not been in contact - I will raise this with their account managers to ensure they are following our customer contact strategy.

We do always strive to find you quotes from 4 installer but sometime this is not always possible due to factors such as availability, location, work load etc.

I’m disappointed that you’ve not had the high level service we strive to achieve.
