Great service and value for money. Nigel converted our home cine films to VHS some thirty years ago, and then from VHS to digital last week. How’s that for reliability, dependability and customer service!

The work Gregory Audio Visual undertakes for these various organisations varies from Installation of AV & Sound Equipment, AV Equipment Hire for conferences, meetings to larger events such as Awards Events. We also still undertake corporate filming with UHD / HD Video Cameras and Drones. We supply our services in the UK from our base in Blackburn Lancashire where we also have our retail operation. The retail operation of Gregory Audio Visual caters for equipment from LCD Projectors, Smart TV’s, Lighting, Sound Equipment, Cables & Accessories Rest assured that we will guide and assist you in any way possible with your event and you will have dedicated people dealing with your requirements. The company has been trading for over 30 years now and also has its own retail business online and in a small retail shop. Along with all of this we have our purpose built studio where we transfer footage to DVD, Enhance CCTV Footage (court approved), Edit and Produce presentations and corporate presentations.

I had an unusual request for a subwoofer to passive speakers and Nigel the man sorted me out custom made cables to run to my mixer, well done again
Nigel always provides a faultless & professional service. He has many years of experience in the industry and is top of the field in his expertise. He is friendly, approachable &
accommodating. I wouldn't hesitate in returning with repeated business.

So helpful with what Nigel had to work with , just watts app video and pictures taking the day before in Australia for my sons wedding.
He made the whole experience so personal and special. I could not have asked for a more supportive and amazing gentleman to have made this day amazing for all my family. A super thank you again Nigel for making a time to remember for everyone.

Really positive experience. Had 4 8mm tapes that I had no idea whether they contained any video. Elaine created a package for me that checked all 4 tapes and then transferred the content to DVD. I sent the initial payment and a few days later received confirmation that there were several videos across the 4 tapes. I authorised the transfer, paid the invoice and received my DVDs, along with the tapes, less than a week later. Happy family were able to see the videos we thought were lost. I've used Gregory Audio Visual a couple of times now to have some old 8mm tapes transferred to DVD - Excellent service in both instances, and very affordable too. Would definitely recommend!

I couldn't be more pleased with Gregory Audio Visual and the care and attention that Nigel gave, in extracting and editing, (with added and thoughtful value) a short but priceless family film from 1978, onto a modern, playable format. This was even more remarkable, given the very short notice to deliver, ahead of a funeral. In my opinion, Nigel went above and beyond and I am only too happy to recommend his totally professional work.

Wow - what an amazing purchase experience - I couldn't be happier with this company!
This was my first ever purchase with this company and must say it was the best.
I did have a slight issue so immediately phoned the shop and spoke to a lovely lady called Elaine who could not have been nicer and more accommodating. Within a second she resolved my issue to my full satisfaction and my product arrived the next day!
I highly recommend Gavshop and see no reason why you'd want to purchase a product from another store - they're very professional, and thank God they still believe in the old saying that 'The customer is always right!'

Booked for a wake. Hired audio and visual equipment including technician to ensure perfect tribute to family member. I had the choice for a technician to prepare the tribute too for a very small fee but trusting my techy nephew I decided to give him the responsibility as part of his contribution of remembrance. Firstly we booked from 1.30pm until 3.30pm, we arrived late at 2.30pm as the mass over ran. When we arrived I gave Nigel all the equipment including nephews' instructions to get into the presentation that took 11 hours to lovingly create. Could Nigel get this presentation to project without stagger onto the big screen? No. Guests tried, he tried over and over. Nigel did so very much, he went above and beyond to get this tribute played. I could feel his anxiety although he did not express it. The moral of the story is CHECK OUT PERSONALLY THAT THE VENUE HAS DECENT WIFI. After much conversation with the venue provider they finally accepted it was their issue. Nigel and Gregory Visual were brilliant, sending him off with a buffet filled belly at 4.30pm he said he would take the tribute home and put it into a format that I could then share with my grieving family. I received it today as he promised and it is truly lovely. Highly recommended, take advice though do your own research of the venues Wi-Fi output first as it will save so much stress for all. Thank you Nigel and Elaine. xx

I ordered a mixer flightcase for my husband from Gregory Audio Visual primarily because the price was so attractive. Ordering was very easy as was payment. Shortly after my order was completed I received an email from the proprietor stating that the item was sadly out of stock, however he offered me an ex display case at a vastly reduced rate. As a result I accepted the alternative. The case was sent out on a speedy delivery and my product arrived in double quick time and in pristine condition.The item was extremely well packed. I am extremely happy with the case I purchased and have to comment on the especially good customer service approach by this company. They kept in touch throughout the whole procedure even down to an email the day after to make sure my package had arrived safely. I would suggest that this company went over and above the norm to ensure satisfaction. Well done Gregory Audio Visual.

I did not want to leave a negative review but I don't like companies who just blame couriers and don't accept no responsibility themselves
many issues -
- ordered a sunburst johnny brook guitar set. within 4 hours someone called me to say out ouf stock (even though still showing in stock after my sale) they did offer me the same set but in red (bit childish looking)
- guitar arrived when stated and was package well inside 2 boxes but once opened there were numerous defects, dents and scrapes.
I called the sales person and was told to email over all pics - I did this and they arranged for a new one to be dropped off and for the damaged one to be picked up separately.
- next guitar was delivered 2 hours after delivery time given and they also took the damaged guitar which shouldve gone back at 9am and I waiting in all day.
- opened 2nd guitar which was in 1 box wrapped in cellophane - again there was some minor imperfections bit there was also a big crack and loose plastic bit.
I immediately took pictures and sent to the advisor who the replied and said that " I can't understand this as we've sold loads of these and no one else has had a problem" - I dont really care who else has or hasn't had problem.
Another delivery and collection was arranged for today (Monday 21st December)
- On Saturday 19th December I receive a phone call from my 12 year old daughter (who the present was for) to say that a guitar has just been delivered to the house- I asked how she knew what it was and she said that the box wasn't covered in any way, it was just left on the step and when she opened the door the driver just said "delivery" and then walked to his van.
When I got home I inspected the package (that was 2 days early and have bern given to my 12 year old - it was her surprise Christmas present)
The guitar was only in its basic box with 4 pieces of tape hold it shut and the corner of the box was heavily dented but luckily enough the guitar and amp were fine.
I reported this to the sales person who has replied today and questioned the packaging as if I was lying.
After 2 more emails she just said she was glad that the guitar was ok and she pass my comments on to the courier.
PLEASE DON'T USE THIS COMPANY AS THERE SERVICE LEAVES A LOT TO BE DESIRED.
NOT ONLY DO THE BLAME THE COURIER FOR EVERYTHING BUT THEY DON'T EVEN APOLOGISE WHEN THEY'VE SPOILT A CHILDS CHRISTMAS MORNING.
