This course was inferior to the free videos I could get from YouTube. First of all, it contain extraneous information not meant for the fort pilot I guess when they were making this course, they just grabbed the private pilot course and carelessly slapped something together for sport pilots. Secondly every time I’d have to step away from the computer for a while. The check marks on the boxes is showing the videos I already watched would disappear. Consider considering I could get the same thing for free on YouTube. I would expect expected to at least track my progress accurately.

Very interactive content, tests are difficult with a large variety of questions which assures good preparation for the knowledge test.

Gold Seal is the Gold Standard for an online ground school. The lessons are well set up, well explained, and cater to not just the knowledge test but also being a safe and effective pilot. I’ve done several courses with Gold Seal and recommend them to any prospective pilot.

Although I successfully passed my Instrument Rating (IR) exam prior to my check ride, Goldseals’ comprehensive depth and breadth of knowledge continue to impress me. It has now assisted me in passing two written and two check rides well above the standard.

The thorough explanations and interactive slides featuring 3D models and detailed information significantly contribute to my ability to not only focus on rote memorization but also develop intellectual understanding.

I did this course as an additional course as part of my 141 flight school. This course helped me a lot over the 4 months, as I completed it alongside my 141 schoolwork.

My only issue is that I wish they had a test prep like Sporty's. I would have liked to test on the questions section and retest on the wrong ones. Mark the ones I was having issues with and create a study guide for those using the Gold Seal Program.

Overall, still a great program.

Gold Seal does a great job with updated teaching curriculum and simple clear explanations.

I contacted the school last month to request some guidance on their Sport Pilot Courses. In regards to MOSAIC, I was previously on the PPL track but wanted to transition.

I felt that I had a decent level of understanding as a result of taking the Gold Seal Course and my flight instructor felt that I had decent understanding of the knowledge. We were able to work through and place focus on maneuvers without backtracking to fill in missing information. I just need to take my exam and prep for the check ride. Thank you Gold Seal.

I learned enough through the Gold Seal Instrument course to score an 87% on my written exam. I did however go to other sources on several of the areas that I did not understand in the Gold Seal courses. The courses were laid out well and had good graphics that made the information easier to learn. The only thing I would request is that you have a search bar that will take us to the course and lesson that contains that subject. Several times I found myself trying to go back to a subject that I had written notes on, but could not find the lesson to review it. In that case, I would go to YouTube or Google to find the answer. I will say that I did have a question that I submitted through the website and Russ answered my question personally. I really appreciated that.
One other thing that would have been helpful would be a reference tab on the website to sources such as the FAR/AIM, Instrument Procedures Handbook, Airmen Testing Supplement for Instrument Rating, etc. Sportys had a reference section like this in their private pilot course that I used, and it was super helpful. Good course overall and I wanted to tell you guys thanks for helping me pass my written exam with ease!

Very thorough, presented in a logical format and easy to follow. Gave plenty of opportunity to explore deeper into each of the topics presented.

The way that the lessons are laid out is phenomenal and makes sense based on how you progress through your flight training. The videos and information is presented in an engaging way and the stage quizzes and practice tests are great. I felt well prepared for my written and scored a 92 on it. Thank you Gold Seal!

Gold Seal helped me get a 95% on my IRA.
I religiously studied it for about a week and a half and it didn't disappoint at all.
Off topic, I also used their "know it all cheat sheet" for IR for my checkride. Also passed in first attempt. Love the curriculum.
Bought their Commercial Ground School Package too.

There really is no better online ground school than Gold Seal at this moment in time. Every course is highly comprehensive, and their knowledge transfer learning method is awesome. I’ve trusted them throughout my entire journey so far and have yet to be let down.
