Yes I need performance, but I also need an agency that cares, and Growth Gorilla care. I know they're spending every penny as if it was their own. Communication is fluid, reporting is transparent, and conversations are always frank and honest. Can't recommend them enough.

Worked with Growth Gorilla as a freelance designer across several months. Every single invoice I submitted required chasing - not once did payment arrive on time without follow-up from me.

When invoices became overdue, Eugene in the accounts team was consistently dismissive and deflected any accountability. Excuses included blaming invoice formatting for their own internal processing failures - despite me asking multiple times if there were any issues and being told there weren’t.

After multiple warnings, I exercised my right to charge a late payment fee. The response was to request it be waived rather than acknowledge the pattern of behaviour.

The project work itself and the clients are interesting, but if you’re a freelancer considering taking work here, go in with your eyes open about payment reliability and how you’ll be treated when things go wrong.

You can use any marketing agency for what they deliver

Unfortunately had a mental health breakdown because of this company, they didn’t apologise till months later, had a round of redundancies, failed to follow correct protocol and was still hiring staff thinking we wouldn’t know but we were connected through LinkedIn. They don’t really have any organisation in the company, they don’t have perks either no dental, healthcare nothing. They also retained someone’s wage on payday because the laptop collector failed to collect it twice which wasn’t that persons fault. Just avoid
