It has been a little confusing overall. The initial agent didn't make the whole process fully clear as to how long the process could take. Overall, communication as to what was happening was also a little skimpy. However, it has come to a very satisfactory conclusion. I can recommend GRT.

Disappointed in communication
I have been very disappointed in the lack of person to person communication on our account. The occasional email is ok but there are times that a real person calling to update.
Even if it’s just a we are waiting for information to come back to us or we have reached out to your creditors and are awaiting a response.
Personal communication goes along way in making people feel better going through this. I got the feeling during a call that you work on one creditor at a time.
Had I known this I would have definitely NOT utilized your services.
I should have asked for references before trusting you.
At this point I have to keep going.

Wrong way
GRT financial is the worst nightmare of my life.
I was registered in the GRT programs because I was looking for a better rate to pay off my credit card.
I signed two contracts:
In the first one, when I called no one can tell me where has been my money.
In the second one ( under pressure), the rate was higher than any financial institution in the marketplace.

I wish I could give this 0 stars. My experience has been extremely frustrating and unacceptable, marked by poor communication, repeated errors, and a complete lack of accountability after my account entered litigation. The representatives handling my case have demonstrated clear incompetence, particularly in basic financial calculations and an apparent lack of understanding of legal and accounting matters, which has directly impacted my case. These failures resulted in incorrect settlement figures and an overpayment into my escrow account that still has not been properly explained or addressed. Attempts to get clarification or resolution have been met with dismissiveness, evasiveness, and unprofessional, at times combative, behavior, making an already stressful situation significantly worse. Despite receiving no meaningful or competent support, I continue to be charged a $55 monthly fee for a service that has served no value to me. The overall handling of my case reflects serious deficiencies in professionalism, competence, and oversight, and this ongoing situation requires immediate attention, correction of financial errors, and the termination of unjustified fees.

My credit score is worse than it was…
My credit score is worse than it was before I started the program. I have 2 civil cases filed in court because Tiffany (the one who negotiates with the credit card companies) did not do her job and file a response in time and expected me to know what I needed to file and when. She also did a horrible job negotiating a settlement. She would accept 80% offers and then they would charge me 25% so I was paying more than the original card amount. They start out with the highest cards so they can make their money right away. This company is a joke due to the above and also all of the monthly fees they charge!

I was lied to about EVERYTHING and how this program works. My credit is screwed and has been for 7 months now and will continue to be horrible until I pay them the ENTIRE balance. Do NOT get trapped in this program like I did.

Lost $15,000
I paid almost $15,000 over the course of a few years. I entered the program with ~$25k in debt. They did not settle any of my accounts, and I am in the same exact position I was before, short 15k I could have actually used to pay off my debt. I would steer clear of using this service and others like it.
