Never again will I touch Grundig!! 2 years ago we bought an integrated washer dryer from Currys and its been nothing but trouble since the day it was delivered. It was supposed to be app controllable and that never worked, they were never able to resolve that. 12 months into its 5 year warranty the dryer overheated and popped? For lack of a better word inside, sounded like throwing a tennis ball on an open fire. I rang them only to discover Grundig customer services no longer existed and had to deal with hotpoint. They came and repaired it, the engineer was snappy and rude. Well never mind its fixed.. or so we thought. 3 months later, broke again this time less noise but the display lighting up like a Christmas tree despite being switched off. They came out again, nice chap this time, spent a while looking after it, after some head scratching he said there was 3 parts that could be faulty and he wasnt sure which so would replace all 3 but they have to order them. This took weeks of waiting for parts and then waiting for an engineer to come back. Finally fixed again, only for 6 months before finally going again this week, same fault as last time. They tried to tell me because the repair wasnt required within 30 days of the last repair its seen as a new fault. After some tooing and froing and me getting annoyed at an electrical fault in my house at 32 weeks pregnant they finally agreed to take it back and refund me. Im glad to see the back of it, complete waste of £554. Now got an LG, lets see how this holds up

Love the dishwasher. However, lower arm stopped moving so lower drawer not cleaned properly. Looks like the lower arm has become heavy with food residue. Sealed unit so cannot open to clean and no way to clean it. Luckily I have 5 years warranty. However, didnât realise how bad Beko (why Beko??) support was going to be. After 45 minutes being passed between 4 different departments they then decided to tell me that they couldnât find my warranty even though I had the email of confirmation in front of me. Said I had to email it to an email address. No other information on what to expect, if any additional info needed on email or what would happen after they get the mail such as having to spend another 45 minutes juggling with various customer services departments. Dash was the rudest assistant Iâve come across in a very long time. Now just to wait for an email response before I can get it fixed. Great product (other than the arm design) but horrendous customer service. Only other methods of contact are instagram and Facebook which is no use to me.

Most frustrating customer support experience that I ever had. I have sent the details in 2021 for warranty registration for Model: GTN38250MGCW, Serial: 2020565612. But they didnât register warranty. Now I have an issue with the appliance and they are keep asking for proof of registration. While I have provided all the email communication history proof, they are not accepting the mistake on their side. Really frustrating and do not ever buy anything from this company. Appalling Service
An absolutely atrocious customer service and experience with Grundig. Completely unhelpful and were unable to answer any of my questions beyond a reading off a script. In this context of making a claim on my dishwasher warranty, there was absolutely no care for the customer whatsoever. Their approach was to find any loophole possible to put the blame onto the customer rather than being helpful. Furthermore, despite having waited 30 minutes to speak to a human being, they then outright refused to let me speak to anyone else despite the fact they paused the call to speak with their manager. I am thoroughly unsatisfied with Grundig's service and would not recommend them to anyone.
Disgusting Experience
The fridge feezer is under 2 years old. I purchased it because it had a 5 year warranty. In December 2023 I registered it for the 5 year warranty.
In August the top freezer tray stopped working.
22nd August - I phoned in and because it was under a 5 year warranty was passed from Grundig to Beko to Currys. Curry's confirmed it had 5 years and should be dealt with by Grundig. As it was late I couldn't phone back.
23rd August at 9 am I phoned Grundig again.
it took 2 hours 16 minutes on the phone to get a repair booked. Disgusting treatment as they wouldn't repair it unless I accepted it was a 2 year warranty only. I agreed to get transferred to the 2 year warranty repair line, but said I would still dispute the 5 year warranty later.
I also had to take out an extended warranty at £5 per month with Domestic & General when I already had one for free!
The guy on the phone said they had notified the withrawal of the 5 year warranty on the internet. Yet it was in the instruction book and on the sticker in Currys. Yet they had given me a customer number when registering it.
I NO LONGER TRUST GRUNDIG!
26th August engineer unable to mend freezer without parts.
2nd September the engineer came and mended it. Told us not to put more food in for a day, which we didn't.
3rd September the bread in the top tray was still soft.
So, I phoned again and had a stroppy agent on the phone that sounded South African. She was very rude in fact. She eventually created another appointment for 8th Sept.
Notice that this is a freezer full of food and yet there is no urgency to repair it.
Notice that I am still in dispute about the registered 5 year warranty.
I bought Grundig as it used to have a good reputation. But they have been dishonest with me and don't care about food possibly going rotten whilst they take their time repairing it.
Note also the several hours wasted trying to get them to agree to repair it!
DO NOT TRUST GRUNDIG! THIS HAS BEEN A DISGUSTING EXPERIENCE AND WASTED HOURS OF MY TIME. FREEZER STILL NOT MENDED.

After several minutes trying to contact them about a repair, finally spoke to someone with limited English. Was booked in and took a day off work, only for no one to turn up. Thought maybe got the date wrong, so waited another day. No one again. Rang, only to be told, we didn't have an account and our address was wrong, despite having had 2 engineers call twice for a repair in the past. On their site, they state that if no one home when the engineer calls, they charge you a call out fee. So, do they resipricate if they don't turn up? Absolutely useless.
Grundig withdrawing from the UK?
I'm trying to find out some product information about a Grundig dishwasher. Their online information is sparse, you cannot penetrate their automated phone system despite the helpful sounding 'Contact Us' option and they list Currys as their exclusive UK distributor.....Except ..search 'Grundig' on Currys and it will not recognise the name.
Something odd going on with this brand, possibly withdrawing from the UK?
WORST WASHER DRYER AND WARRANTY SERVICE
NEVER buy a Grundig or Beko washer dryer (they're the same inside)! I bought a brand new Grundig integrated washer dryer in June 2023 for £730. It is the worst machine I have ever had. It is loud and noisy, and the spin cycle is so aggressive it pushed the cabinet doors out by an inch. The worst part is the warranty repairs. I have booked 3 repairs since Jan 2025. First time the door locking mechanism failed so the door wouldn't open. Second time the machine stopped working altogether because the sensor board which sends the instruction from control panel to the water pipe stopped working, so no water was coming into the machine. And 30mins after the second engineer visit we put on a wash, only to hear a metal rattling sound coming from the machine, and the spin is so aggressive that our entire kitchen cabinet is shaking on the hinge. Grundig customer service then told me that the only case where I would be eligible for a replacement unit is if I had persistent issues in Jan, Feb and March, so the fact that I was able to use my washing machine in Feb, but now have to see an engineer 2 weeks back to back in March, means I'm not eligible for a replacement. I have never heard anything so ridiculous and the lack of care from every single customer service person I have spoken to can only be described as one step up from robotic. They will repeat the same thing 10 times, but offer meaningful solutions for the fact that you can't wash your family's clothes for a week. THIS IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD WITH AN APPLIANCE. GRUNDIG/BEKO, YOU'RE BEYOND DISAPPOINTING.
Unreliable fridge freezer.
50 minute hold on the phone to be told that my fridge freezer has no warranty [or guarantee] as it is a replacement for one that also broke down terminally. On my experience, DONT BUY GRUNDIG. The last one to break resulted in my having multiple phone calls, evasions and the like until Currys customer care team eventually resolved it.
