The best calculator by far, allowing different pension pots to kick in at future dates. Hugely helpful to me in planning my retirement date

Really neat financial planning tool which can be used to create an initial retirement plan with graphical representations.

Best of all it’s free and can be updated/adjusted for different scenarios, giving the most tax efficient method of drawdown.

Something which is important to me, is it only requires basic information, like sex, current and retirement age. It does require an email address, but only if you want to save the plan and download a copy.

It even does some stress testing, considers sequencing risk, and gives options to resolve, which is all pretty neat. About the only problem I have with it, is the assumed level of inflation of 2.5%, which can’t be adjusted.

Highly recommend.

Make more sense when looking at the pensions

It’s great to have this helpful tool for free! It wasn’t obvious how I could regenerate my plan based on a different starting income but I did get a very prompt response to my online query that sorted the issue.

The user interface and workflow were intuitive. I wanted to be able to have more control over how long I wanted the income to grow. 75 or life was too limiting

Excellent tool for retirement and pension fund planning. A few more customization options and it would be perfect. So a 9 out of 10 for me.

Having looked for a pension drawdown calculator and found nothing that wouldn't require a callback or similar, I've finally found this. What a fantastic tool to get basic (and maybe not so basic) projections. I don't understand the minority of more negative reviews complaining it doesn't do more - as far as I can see that's not the point, even though Guiide say they're going to develop the site. If I need more in depth financial advice and planning I chat to my IFA. In the mean time I'm going to enjoy playing with figures and scenarios, seeing what I hoped was in my head confirmed and displayed on graphs! Thanks for a useful tool.

Guiide provides me with a straightforward, easy to understand tool through which I can gain confidence over my retirement preparations.
The sections of the questionnaire are well presented and lead the user through to a very useful summary, with the ability to assess different scenarios.

It was great to find a professionally put together retirement modelling tool which was not only free at point of use but also came with very responsive feedback to a query on usage. Well done guys. I have been a software developer for over 40 years and this is a winner :)

Good drawdown calculator

Clear instructions, good information and informative modelling regarding drawdown pensions.

Very easy to use, and quite intuitive. It can be a fiddle to go and make some amendments to model an alternative scenario but not too bad. Overall the best and simplest free model I have found. A few additions would be very useful - for example a big withdrawal to pay off a mortgage post retirement.
