⚠️ Buyer Beware: Advertised 12 Months, Received 6 Months ⚠️
I purchased an Xbox Game Pass Essential/Core voucher from GyFTR because the product page clearly advertised it as a 12-month subscription.
However, when I went to redeem the code, Microsoft's redemption page identified the voucher as a 6 month subscription, not 12 months. I immediately contacted support and provided screenshots showing both the product listing and Microsoft's redemption page.
The voucher was never redeemed and remains unused.
After an investigation, I was informed that the issue was due to a technical/product listing problem. Unfortunately, instead of providing a refund or supplying the missing 6 months, I was only offered a ₹250 compensation voucher of a few dumb brands.
My concern is simple: if a customer purchases a product advertised as 12 months and receives a code for 6 months, the resolution should be either a refund or fulfillment of the advertised duration.
