Great service

I needed an invoice printed (before I had received my dumbells) and Harry was very helpful and got it to me super quick. He also let me know when I could expect to have the dumbells come in, and called me to let me know they were ready for pick up. Thanks for the great service!

The equipment itself is actually really good. I was disappointed in the service this time....having to chase up several times regarding an order that was overdue as the team didn't get back to me when they said they would.

Extremely poor service by rude young man

I went to Gymquip in Fyshwick, Canberra, at about 9.15am yesterday (Boxing Day) to pay for & collect a Body-Solid G2B Gym in my trailer. The young man who served me was indifferent and abrubt, to the point of being rude. I'd just spent $2,400 and he couldn't wait to get rid of me. If I could give him minus 5 stars, I would. He obviously needs some customer service training beyond simply taking people's money.

I apologise if my team seemed rude, this is something i do not tolerate. I have reviewed the camera footage of your collection at 9.12 am on 26/12/25. What stands out to me is the 12 minutes the 2 sales staff attended the warehouse (which is unmanned as it is a Public Holiday) as they loaded your 300kg item into your trailer. Guiding your trailer, assisting with the blankets you brought and carefully loading. Yes they did not assist in reloading your additional blankets (and other items) in the SUV or securing your load, but you said you had that covered. They were keen to return to the store to assist other sales staff in what is our single busiest day of the year - directly after Christmas Day which is one of only 5 days that we are closed - maybe they were recovering after too much eggnog :)

When leaving a review - that locally owned small businesses rely on - please take into consideration the sales assistance received at time of purchase, the product they guided you to and price and stock availability received. Did they also give you service that is 1 star (or minus 5 stars if available as you state)? If I received such service at time of purchase - it is very unlikely I would have continued with the buying the item.

These reviews can make or break businesses, not so much ours as we have been servicing the area for 30 years, but please be mindful that is an "all encompassing" review, which is from start to finish.

I hope your last 12 minutes of our teams service does not take away the enjoyment that the Body Solid G2 Gym can help you achieve in your fitness goals, and i hope we see you again in store soon.

Good Shopping experience

Wonderful customer service, and great products. One of the items I purchased (chalk bag$ was going to have a slight delay getting out to me, but they gave me a phonecall and had great response time to email questions.

Saved the Day with Last-Minute Support!

I had an amazing experience with GymQuip Canberra. Dan & Sam went above and beyond to help me with a last-minute request for an event I was running. Their responsiveness and professionalism made a huge difference, and everything was handled quickly and efficiently. I’m truly grateful for their outstanding service and support, I couldn’t have pulled it off without them. Highly recommend!

Good communications for web orders.

I ordered on the web with item's colour specified. I didn't really care about colour. But a prompt call on my mobile told me my choice was unavailable, and gave me new choices. Items arrived in good time.

The in-store team were great

The in-store team were great, able to help, able to answer questions.
We were directed to the website to make the purchase request, however, the website did not have the option offered in-store to have the item delivered and installed.
The delivery and installation could improve on their offering by confirming the delivery date (one day before) and to confirm on the day a likely delivery time. The was NO communication from the delivery team.
