Professional, Compassionate Care
Probably in my experience with hairloss, is one of the most difficult parts of receiving care and to have a stylist who is compassionate and creative. This has been my experience with Jackie at the Rye, New York office. She never fails to be cordial and ready to help with my concerns. From the moment I walk in, I feel an atmosphere of warmth and understanding that is often hard to find in such a personal setting.
Jackie's ability to listen closely and truly understand my situation has made a significant difference. She takes the time to discuss my style preferences and offers creative solutions tailored to my specific needs. Her insights into hair care and styling make me feel more informed.
I am confident I will get the service I pay for in a professional manner. Each appointment is not just a routine visit; it feels like a collaborative effort towards enhancing my look while considering the challenges of hair loss. I genuinely appreciate Jackie's dedication and the compassionate approach she brings to her work, making every visit a positive experience.
Misleading sales process and unresolved billing dispute
I had a very disappointing experience with HairClub.
On January 22, 2026, I attended what turned into a very long sales presentation that lasted over five hours. During this appointment I was encouraged to sign a treatment agreement totaling $4,452.
During that visit I was asked to provide a simple cheek swab for what they described as a DNA test. There was no medical consultation, no treatment provided, and no products delivered at that time. My first actual treatment appointment had not even taken place yet.
On February 18, before any treatment services began, I requested cancellation of the program. Despite this request, a charge of $247.34 was processed on February 22 while my cancellation request was still pending.
After several complaints, the company refunded most of the contract but continues to insist on charging $477 for what was essentially a simple cheek swab and an automated online report.
The entire treatment process was also described in a way that made it seem like there would be in-person care, but later I was told most of the process would be handled virtually and that I would only need to visit the location to pick up shampoo.
I have filed complaints with the Maryland Office of the Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau because I believe this charge is disproportionate to the minimal service provided.
I hope the company will reconsider and resolve this matter fairly.

Medical Director - Bosley he was so rude and nasty when he came in the room because I told him that Iâve already had a scout biopsy. Well, how do you know you had a scalp biopsy? Who did it and he told me that my hair is too thin and Iâm not a candidate and my hairline is too far back that I couldnât get here from the back to be put to the front and I told him that I have low air. Heâs like low air is not gonna cause your hair to come out like that. You gotta be something else. He didnât even analyze my scalp didnât anything to it to see if I have even follicles underneath there which I do and then he went on to say is there any questions you gotta ask me and Iâm like no I donât have any questions to ask you so if anybody got a hair transplant a few or a few and your hair dessert back to being bald is because he didnât fix the root problem of your hair loss he just grabbing money and going with it and also if you call the customer service and ask them whatâs the link to the make a review Morgan he refused to give it to me twice and Iâve never received a supervisor phone call at all either and I told him do not call me take me off the do not put me on a do not call list this was the Bosley office located on Bellevue Suite 200 the address is 5251 DTC Parkway Suite 200 I donât know what this man problem was if he had a bad day, but he should not have taken his day out on me. That was the wrong thing to do.

The initial install was at the end of June 2025 and final installation was at the end of the 6 month contract.
I had thinning hair at the top of my head but by the end when the hair piece was removed I was shocked to see that I had lost over half of my hair that was initially there at the beginning of June.
At the end of my contract I have never been contacted by Hair Club to discuss further treatment or possibilities.
I am EXTREMELY disappointed with the outcome of a very EXPENSIVE several month experience, which cost close to $5000.00 dollars.
I would absolutely not recommend Hair Club to anyone.
I have since gone to an alternative in which I am much more satisfied with the hair quality and the cost which is 1/10th of Hair Club cost.

Scam. Deceptive. How is this company still in business?
This is a scam. I donât know how this isnât fraud. You will never get a refund; There is no incentive to provide decent service and it shows. They are deceptive. Every single promise The consultant tells you and the website âguaranteesâ absolutely does not happen. Youâre told to provide days to make an appointment and that a scheduler will contact you- They canât even do that simple task. Weeks later, after numerous emails asking the consultant when my appointment would be made, they picked random days a month beyond what I was told. The website and consultant tells you itâs real hair that blends and looks natural, but they use synthetics. It looked absolutely ridiculous. I couldâve looked better if I purchased Cheap party store wig. They glued a piece of crap onto my head that was tall and cylindrical like Frankenstein with a huge gap in the front. They cut the hairpiece so 50% of it was huge bangs like Peggy Bundy- they were even crooked. Their website says you can swim in it or a NASCAR driver can wear it and remove a helmet numerous times. I went to Hobby lobby and a grocery store, and within an hour of application it was peeling away from the front of my head and It pulls your hair out. When you call customer service, they gaslight you and they blame the Customer for the bad experience . I was told that I looked happy in my photo. When I said, I would share my experience, he raised his voice with me and accused me of threatening him and said he wouldnât respond to threats. I asked for a refund numerous times to numerous people. They absolutely refuse. Their Promise to âhave the look you want in one sessionâ and âSatisfaction guaranteeâ isnât that youâll get a refund, it Is them forcing you to forfeit your money or to continue doing business with them no matter how terrible their services are. Once again, I donât know how this Isnât fraud and no idea how this company is still in business
Save Your Money, I t doesnât work.
Hair Club was very expensive with little to no results. Maybe it is better for men, but I canât see any difference in my hair. I was told when I signed the contract and gave them thousands of dollars that my hair was a candidate because I still had active follicles, it didnât. I was also told that, if it didnât grow, I could put the money toward a wig only to find that they donât make wigs. I am writing this review to save others from being scammed like I was. If you want a wig or prosthetic I recommend doing your research and finding a company that specializes in quality wigs. If you want to regrow your hair, you should check with a dermatologist. I learned a VERY expensive lesson about hair and doing my research.
Problem getting appointments
First, I want to say I was very pleased with the Estrand process. My problem was with the administration and appointments. I was told on several occasions I would be called and given an appointment because nothing was available when I checked out. Sometimes two months would go by and I would end up calling. The final example is I had an appointment in June. It was cancelled and asked if I could come the next week which I couldn't because I would be away. I was told I would be called back by the end of the day with an appointment. It is now September 1st and I have heard nothing. I say final because I don't plan on returning even though I'm still paying.

Misleading Practices and Poor Customer Service at Hair Club
I recently had a very negative experience with Hair Club in Virginia Beach, specifically regarding the purchase of an Xtrallux Turbo Pro 316 laser device.
Firstly, the product itself was not as described. The cap was far too large for my head, making it ineffective and impractical to use. I contacted Hair Club about this issue and while a manager was initially supportive, the follow-up communication did not provide any helpful solutions.
Secondly, I discovered a significant and concerning price discrepancy. I purchased the device for $2,099.30 (net), but it is now listed on the Xtrallux website for only $1,299. This drastic price reduction, advertised for the same month I bought the product, feels incredibly misleading.
To make matters worse, the Hair Club failed to inform me of their "No Refund/No Return" policy. This policy was not on my receipt, nor was it verbally disclosed. This lack of transparency contradicts their advertised "satisfaction guarantee" and the Xtrallux 6-month satisfaction guarantee.
I have attempted to resolve this with Hair Club directly, but my concerns have not been adequately addressed. I am extremely disappointed with the product, the misleading pricing, and the poor customer service. I would not recommend purchasing from this Hair Club location.
