The fruit was just ok-I purchase this gift box to give as a Christmas present but I could have bought the fruit at the grocery store. It would have been less expensive and much nicer. The grapefruit and oranges seemed old and not fresh. Coming directly from Florida and the grower, I felt the fruit should have been fresh and exceptional.

Not like fruit has been in past. Ruby grapefruit excellent. Otherwise not better than market. Two tangerines were moldy soft and needed to be discarded. I probably would not order again

This is the 4th year I have purchased Hale Grove produced. The fruit is always exceptional and I will continual buying from them.
The fruit looked bad. It looked diseased and not fresh at all. The company sent a card explaining why it looked that way which means they knowingly sent out a bad product. The picture in the brochure would be considered false advertisement. If i had sent this as a gift to someone i would have been embarrassed.

Grapefruit and oranges were juicy and sweet. Two of the tangerines were bad but the others were juicy and sweet.
We had 5 fruit with big black spots!!!
The fruit was fantastic. Then shipping was not.

Nice collection of fruit, but some was brown and no good when it arrived.
I was disappointed this year with my order. It came early and when I went to use some of the oranges and fruit, they were already rotting. Yikes! I had 2 oranges I that were rotten and 2 more I threw away because the didn't taste right. I ordered tangerines, but got honeybells. It was not a good year. I have ordered several years in a row and this was the first time the fruit was poorly packed and undersized. I waited to hear back from Hale Groves, because I thought they would fix this but I never heard anything. I have greatly enjoyed their fruit in the past but something, perhaps the hurricane, happened this year.
