love these feeders and my kitties love them too

I’ve been using SoCool for a while now and it’s been such a lifesaver, esp on weekends when I’m out all day. What surprised me the most is how fast my cat learned it. She comes in before the alarm to wait. It’s honestly so cute to watch, especially since she didn’t have a feeding schedule before.

I love that I can mix different food in each tray since she doesn’t always want the same food. Overall, I’m really happy I found this. It just makes taking care of her mealtimes so much easier.

I am very happy with being a part of such an important product for our pet family. The team behind this company not only cares about what is best for our pets, they care about doing what's right for the customer. They are very responsive to questions and feedback and it's the first time I've seen real-time changes based on the feedback from users. I'm very excited to see this product and this company grow because we need more of this energy in this part of the cat world. I'm very happy with the refrigerated feeder for our cats. It has made vacations so much easier! Thank you!

Love the machine. I wish you had the option to modify the sound it makes when the food is ready. My cat doesn’t hear it so if we could make it louder that would be great. Also, different sound options. “Time to eat” or bird sounds to get their attention.

The stainless steel bowls I got did not seem that high quality. Given the high price, I expected more. The edges were smooth but didn't feel rounded. The material seemed thin and felt more like brushed aluminum or some other type of metal instead of stainless steel. I feel like I can get better quality stainless steel bowls from petsmart or petco than these. Unfortunately, I need to get stainless steel bowls to fit the feeder. My cat was developing cat acne from the plastic try provided.

So far so good with this feeder. Only thing I wish is that it had a door that I could close until the first feeding time after refilling it with food. My cat took to eating out of it immediately, which was a concern since cats can be finicky about random things.

I was part of the crowdfunding campaign to get the SoCool feeder up and running - and am so glad I did. This is my first review on Trustpilot, which helps people understand how much I believe in it.

First of all - during the crowdfunding portion the company was very communicative in explaining the process as well as any hiccups along the way. Then the feeder came and it has been rock solid ever since.

Is it cheap? No. It is high quality? Yes. Does it provide something that the cheaper feeders don't? Yes. It cools the food to a regulated temperature, which is important to prevent bacterial buildup in the portions waiting to be dispensed...the cheaper feeders will say they keep the food cool but don't specify a temperature as the technology doesn't provide that at the lower price point.

The temperature was important to me as at the time I fed raw (stopped with the Avian flu outbreak) and I can have the feeder set up to reliably feed my cat while I'm away.

I have yet to have a malfunction and the app on the phone is very intuitive and reliable. I also have an automatic dry food dispenser and wish that app was as good as this one.

Long story short, this is a highly reputable small business run by real people with real pets and a real desire to provide a quality product and the customer service to go with it.

Bought the refrigerated cat food dispenser and so far it has performed very well. Kitty eats out of it and is easy to use. Definitely keeps the food cold so for wet food feeder this is a good machine. Definitely expensive but so far it has been worth it.

I placed an order and contacted support with a small request. I was told they could not proceed with the credit card payment and instead required a wire transfer, which was not disclosed during checkout. I asked for the wire transfer details to proceed.

Shortly afterward, and after I posted an initial review describing this experience, they canceled my order and stated: “We’re unable to proceed with this order due to policy and risk considerations. A full refund has been issued.”

No specific policy or risk reason was provided, and the previously proposed wire transfer solution was withdrawn without explanation. The cancellation notice was only communicated inside a support thread rather than a formal cancellation email.

Called my bank and I’ll need to begin a dispute because I won’t be refunded the full amount. I’m on the hook for up to $100 in conversion fees just because the company decided to take my payment, send me emails delaying the order claiming they didn’t like my payment, cancel the order, and not refund all my money. Buyers should be aware they may also go through these fees and the denial of the order delivery.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend purchasing from this company.

Great product! We love using it in the mornings so that we can sleep in. My only problem with it is I wish the opening was a little wider in order to avoid whisker fatigue. My cats don't seem to mind it at the moment.

Works as advertised and my cat is all the better for it

My cat becomes ill if she doesn't eat her wet food on a fixed schedule, but if I am traveling or need to shift my schedule this can cause issues. Other auto feeder wet food products don't keep the food at an actual fridge temperature whereas this product does. My cat and I are very happy.

Our cat is 18 with ckd. She really only eats wet food that we make into a milkshake with water and the food processor. Before I purchased this she would wake me up twice a night for her wet food, and I'd have to put it away in the fridge both times. This has been a lifesaver! As soon as I set it up she ran right over and polished off the opened batch. Not once had she cried for food since we got this. She eats when she wants and comes back to bed. She has the opportunity to eat while we are gone for 10 hours a day at work. I think there are about 20 times you can make it rotate in a day. So I have it go off every hour and every other hour for the four hours im awake at home. It stays cold. Im not worried about giving her compromised food anymore or starving her anymore. She really likes the dish too. I keep one for her dry food and she's eaten it a little more since I've done that. Save yourself the trouble and get the extra stainless steel dishes.

The feeder is basically useless as it doesn't heat my cat food and the food basically spoils after a day. It's not that good for my cat and he doesn't like cold food. And it's ridiculously expensive.

Flawless performance so far - the SoCool is very intuitive and simple to use, and the one question I had about programming for different time zones was quickly answered by their customer service. A cat sitter was able to come once a day and set up 4x daily wet meals for our kidney cat while we were abroad. The app notifications for each successful feed (which you can toggle off) were actually very reassuring. I'm glad I made the investment to make sure my baby stays hydrated!

This is a premium product that is well worth the price.

As someone who has used meal delivery services in the past, I am familiar with what can happen when food temps do not stay low enough. I am happy to report that the happy llama tech feeder keeps the wet food portions safe and cold.

It is fantastic that you can feed 6 meals. My cat gets a small meal every four hours and no longer wakes me at night / early morning demanding feedings.

The app is easy to use, the tray inserts are easy to clean, and the company is very responsive.

I put this one right up there with the litter robot as one of the best purchases I've made for my cat.

Love this feeder! It's saved us so much time (vs. the tedious ice pack feeders) and my cat loves having her meals at an exact consistent time every day.

Shipped on time, everything worked out of the box. Now my cat can live on a 100% wet food diet, and I don't have to be up at the break of dawn to feed her.
