My lessons with Kenny have been so enlightening. I have been playing Harmonium for several years, but was a bit stuck in playing chords or playing melodies as I chant. Kenny is guiding me to open into much more fluid playing…lighter and more agile. Each time I have meet with him, he has previously reviewed my playing and come with very clear exercises and ideas for my next step. His video screen set makes it very clear to see him playing, his English is excellent and he records my lessons so I can learn again as I review them. I have studied music with several teachers and I have to say, so far, Kenny is the most well-prepared and organized, and has helped me moved my skills so efficiently to another level. I really enjoy listening to his harmonium playing and I am thrilled to be learning from him.

For starters Kenny and Mari Joel are amazing musicians! I found Harmonium Evolution online when I went searching for a harmonium teacher and community of people centered around playing kirtan. I was impressed when I watched the introductory video to learn more about Harmonium Evolution and then when found Kenny and Mari Joel’s album on Spotify I knew that I wanted to learn from them! I signed up for the Harmonium Evolution Course and 20 private lessons. I had a strong feeling that Kenny would be the right fit for me and help guide me to proficiency in playing the harmonium and also help give me confidence in leading a group Kirtan. I have learned more in one module and one private lesson than I have ever learned playing music for most of my life. I like the structure and the fact that I am setting aside at least 30 mins a day to practice, but I usually loose myself in playing and an hour or goes by and my fingers are flying. If I have any questions Kenny is available and the community within Harmonium Evolution is also amazing in answering questions and providing constructive feedback and validation. I could go on, but will leave this review with one final reflection- Taking this course is the best thing I have done for myself in so many ways! Jai Bhagwan

For quite some time i have been searching for harmonium lessons. Kenny and Mari Joël made an amazing effort to make the course so accessible to young & old, beginners and advanced students. A very amazing & easy approach for people all over the world. I'm so happy to be able to find such high quality harmonium lessons in the West, which i thought i would never find. It's like having a private teacher on daily basis; Kenny is always open for questions and responds very quickly. This course provides very extensive knowledge about the instrument, motivation to keep playing, so many techniques & excercises to keep on learning and a great community to share your growth and joy with and motivate each other.

I have just started my first module of the Harmonium evolution. Just finished my first 10 lessons. I found it interesting and looking forward to learn more and start with advanced lessons.

An excellent course for anyone who is wanting to comprehensively learn the harmonium. It is not just about playing but also really important aspects such as maintenance and simple repairs--which important for such sensitive instruments. A key highlight to the course is that you will learn about the harmonium and how to play both in a Western and in the traditional Indian context. The course follows an easy to follow progression with rewarding aspects such as learning songs and mantras. Another key strength is the online community. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that some of the video content could benefit from editing, it seems that it was recorded in one take.

This is a brilliant online course. It's well worth the investment if you're serious about learning, or improving, your harmonium playing. Kenny and Mari have spent enormous amount of time and effort putting together a meticulous and complete course. It's suitable for absolute beginners, or people like me who are self-taught and have been playing for many years but want to take their skills to another level. Thanks!

I am so grateful that I found Kenny and The Harmonium Evolution. For years I’ve wished I could play the harmonium and now, with Kenny’s help, it is happening. The course is very clear and the structuring is excellent. Kenny is available to help us if we have problems, answers our questions, and gives us personal help. This is phenomenal! I can advance at my own pace. Kenny is a life long musician and I am so grateful to learn from him.

Kenny’s harmonium course is engaging and full of excellent information. This is a great course for anyone that is just starting out or is adding to their kirtan repertoire or just honing in skills.

I subscribed last month for this course. This course is very complete and Kenny teaches everything step by step making music easy even for the absolute beginner. I myself am not a beginner and have been playing the instrument for many years. Still I very much appreciate this course and have been learning many things! So I highly recommend this course both for beginners as intermediate/advanced students!

This really helped me with Learning how to play the harmonium. It's also very useful for the piano if you want to learn how to play chords. Very clear and good understandable explanation. Definitely recommend this course!!

I love sweet music and melodious Bajans, and always wanted to play myself on instrument, and yearned for learning Harmonium for some time. Fortunately, I found Kenny on the internet and joined his classes two years ago. I talk to Kenny on QA calls whenever I want to and discuss about my progress and ask for help to give additional musical notes for any song that I want to play. I am now in week 2 of the course for the Harmonium and am very happy that I started. The thorough technical explanation and the gentle pace of the course makes playing and practicing the harmonium real fun. There has been no part that was unclear or left me with questions so far. Looking forward to the rest of the course!

I really enjoy learning to play the harmonium through this course. It teaches you everything step by step with clear explanations by Kenny and clear videos. I like it that you can learn on your own pace and that therefore it doesn't matter if you cannot practise a lot for a certain time. The songs that you learn during the course are very beautiful.
