Impossible returns. Scam!!
I ordered a pair of shoes and confirmed they had a 30 day window for returns before paying. When I tried to make a return, I was forced into a 5 day exchange with customer service where they offered store credit, 10% -30% refund, 25% off future purchase. I told them I wanted a return, per their policy, and a full refund. They then revealed that they operate “internationally” and returns would cost me $30-$50 (the shoes themselves were $70). Ultimately making it impossible to return the item for my money back.
I had to dispute with my credit card. Never order from this company. Unacceptable.

The top shipped to me was not the same top shown on the website. The quality of the top was cheap and definitely not as advertised. The return policy is absolutely ridiculous. They first offer a 25% refund of the merchandise. Their final offer 35% refund and I could keep the top (I will never wear). Harper and Wells makes it almost impossible to make a return. In order to return the product it must be sent to China at $30.00 to $50.00 expense to be made by the customer. I suspect when trying making a return you are dealing with a Ai and they make it as difficult as possible so the customer gives up. I will never, ever order from them.

Do not order here!! It’s a total scam!! What you get is NOT what you see nor what you order. I fell into their trap and I got a very cheap quality dress probably made in China, since it took a month to arrive. Bad, bad , bad!! Lesson learned.

I bought a dress when this company was using a different name. Exact same dress. Do not buy anything from this company. Read the reviews! The clothing is absolutely awful. In the picture it looks like cotton; in reality it is horrible cheap polyester. Looks NOTHING like the picture. Sure they have a "return policy"; You have to pay to mail it to China which will cost 30-50 percent more than it cost to buy it. They will offer you some percentage back in cash or the ability to buy something else-- why would I want to do that? Their clothing is absolutely crap. I was thrilled when my credit card company got my money back. AVOID ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY AND BE AWARE THAT THEY JUST CHANGE THEIR NAME PERIODICALLY!!!! AVOID THEM TOO!!!

Right after I placed my order, I checked reviews and realized I wanted to cancel. Immediately contacted them. It was told it was not possible to cancel. When I received the items they smelled terrible, were poor quality, and the sizes are completely off. Following their instructions I sent an email asking free refund. This is what I received back.

Ordered product was not at all what looked like in the picture, tried to return and they ship from China therefore would not take the product back without charging more than it cost for the product to ship it. Provided a credit to the store to place another order. This time the product was labeled a large and was a small and they would not replace it. Awful customer service and awful experience. Don't buy from them.

This is probably the worst online shopping experience I have ever had. Ordered a shirt for my husband. The shirt arrived, first of all tiny for an XL so their sizing chart is wrong. Second, the quality looks nothing like the picture and description. I could have found something better at a thrift store. When I try to return it, their answer is that they will give me a 10% refund? Also, impossible to actually talk to a live person. This is a scam. Should have read the reviews, similar experiences all over the internet about this company. Should be ashamed of yourselves to be cheating people like this. They send subpar horrible clothing that they portray to be something nice... By the time you realize you've been scammed, the cost to return the product is more than the product is itself.... Horrible Experience with Harper & Wells
The dress I viewed and ordered on the website was not what was received. Ordered a cotton-linen blend and got cheap, screen-printed polyester. Customer service is programmed to offer you a % back (and keep the cheap dress) to avoid customer shipping costs ($25 -$60) to CHINA! First offer is 10%, then 20%, 30%, and the limit of 40%. IMO a total scam operation. I would avoid.

This company is a sham. I ordered a men’s M button-down shirt, and when it arrived, it was way too tight and way too short in the sleeves and torso. When I asked to return the product for a refund, I was told that I would have to pay $30-50 in shipping to send the item (which was $60 to begin with) to an international warehouse. Instead, the customer service agent (an AI chatbot, I realized from subsequent messages) offered to send me a larger size (XL) of the same shirt for a $15 “replacement fee.” I agreed, hoping to avoid further hassle, but the new shirt was barely any larger than the previous one. When I went to return both shirts for a refund, I was given no help from the alleged customer service representative. I ultimately had to toss the shirts and lost $75. These products look nice in advertisements but this company should be avoided at all costs.
