I am now on my 2nd Hart lawn tool


I am now on my 2nd Hart lawn tool issue! I ran into a Hart rep at a Walmart one day. He convinced me to try their products and given I was in market for lawn tools, I decided to try them out. Not long ago, after 3 uses, the hedge trimmer I bought just flat died. After taking videos to prove it wasnt running, Hart sent me a new one. Great.
Now this week, my Hart string trimmer has met the same fate. It just died for no apparent reason. After 2 days of trying to call to no avail, someone finally called me back. Even though its still well within warranty, the lady at Hart said the only option was to take it to a repair shop. Theres not one anywhere near me. She said I could ship it to them for repair...at my expense! I asked her why they cant just replace it like my last dead Hart tool, and she said thats not an option. You dont tell customers that convenience isnt an option first of all! Since this is the second tool in a year to just die, its cheaper to just trash all Hart products I have and buy different brands. I should have know being a Walmart endorced product. Hart better figure something out or they will lose all of their customers.

Warranty repair is a complete joke

Warranty repair is a complete joke. Customer service never answers phone after 45 minutes. They did call back but never solve the problem. When transferred your call goes back to original que. Appears to be intentional so they can kick the problem down the road in the hope that you'll give up. Service center not equipped to deal with repairs. Never will I buy another Hart tool.

I purchased the Hart power stick to replace the old gas motor.

I purchased the Hart power stick to replace the gas motor stick I had for all of my yard tools. I have had it for two days and it does a great job. Plenty of power to run the edger, blower, string trimmer etc. Only takes one hour for the 40 volt battery to fully recharge. In the meantime I cut the grass and finish up after the mowing. Quiet running but I still wore the ear protection since i was "use to it". Make sure to wear the eye protection as well for the other tools.

Bought new Hart batteries

Bought new Hart batteries for replacements and charger would not charge them.
Had to jump start them for a few seconds with a power supply, then charger would work. Was told they were too low for the regular charger to even start charging.

Extremely PITIFUL support, why are you in business

I bought a Hart 40v weed eater with Edger attachment less than a year ago, now the battery won't charge. I tried calling in to Hart Support, at first I left a message, but still no one has returned my call. Called back and stayed on line over 6 hours and no one answered. Is your equipment that bad that your lines are so full and you don't have the time to return a call or answer? Who are you kidding, no one is that busy unless you are hiding from something.
