Leroy was a great sales assistant who helped me pick nice shirts for my corporate job. It can be really difficult for an 18 year old like me to find nice clothes for an environment I’ve never worked in before but Leroy used his experience to give expert advice to me and I really appreciate that.

If you are alternative/tattooed or look slightly ‘different’, do NOT visit this store. They do not welcome customers that don’t fit the typical look

The shirt and tie I ordered absolutely stunk. Actually made the whole room smell bad. Couldn't sleep one night because of the smell.

I ordered ealier 2-3 orders of non-iron shirts and was thrilied by the quality of the shirts to the level all my friends ordered seeing the quality.
This encouraged me to order ties, and I am frustrated from the quality of the craftsmanship. So bad and the ties smell like a litter bin. So frustrating

The best part is yet to come, I sent to thier support my compalint, and got a reply shortly that since it is an international order, I can contact Global-E directly through a link with an autobot reply.

They don't really care for customer service or adressing customer complaints or customer opinion.

Think carefully before you place an order.

Due to my own clumsiness I ordered the same item twice thanks to Hawes and Curtis customer service assistant Madalina my dilemma was solved instantly, great service which I have become used to from this company. The item that I did receive was excellent, the Claret inverted Rib Knitted polo shirt is a beautiful piece that will become a very versatile addition to my wardrobe it can be worn formally with trousers or even a suit or casual with chinos, jeans or shorts. I would definitely recommend this item and of course Hawes and Curtis for the personal touch that they provide.

Visited Stratford store in April for initial enquiry regarding buying seven suits, two dads and five groomsmen, at my son's wedding in August.
We were served by Waqar, who turned out to be a bit of legend. We took turns to try on sample sizing garments which Waqar noted down and then provided us with all the relevant sized suits in the style my son chose, which we took away same day, with the plan to return a few weeks before the day for final checks and adjustments.
One groomsman will be coming over from the US, so we took his suit on the day as well, and shipped it out to him so he had plenty of time to try it on and get adjustments made. He is now ready to travel!
This week, we returned to the store for the follow up appointment, and Waqar once again painstakingly ensured we all still had the rights sizes. In my case, I had dropped a size having followed a successful weight loss plan and it was no problem to swap the relevant elements of the suit for smaller ones. That made me feel pretty good if I'm honest (just saying!)
Waqar also measured and pinned the adjustments which any of us needed for that perfect fit and sent them off to be altered, so we can collect the final fitted ensembles next week.
Choice of suit styles and colours was great, prices were very competitive for the quality of tailoring and the service was superb.
Happy to recommend, and will return here for my future requirements.

Worn a polo shirt once to a restaurant, literally fallen to pieces but as it’s outside the 28 day window they don’t want to know. I’ve had better quality stuff from Primark

Very poor quality! I bought four shirts and within six months, three of the shirts had ripped at the seams - two on the cuff and one down the side. I complained to customer service and they replied to say it was outside of their 28 day warranty period and was due to wear. Will never buy from this company again

Fantastic experience at Hawes & Curtis Brent Cross. Dee was incredibly helpful from the moment I walked in, guiding me through suit options for my graduation. He styled the full look with a shirt, tie, and shoes, and made sure the fit was perfect with expert tailoring. The service was professional, friendly, and efficient. Dee is a star! Couldn’t recommend him or the store more!

I purchased some work shoes mid April and less than 3 months later the heel has fallen off one shoe. A bit embarrassing with one good shoe at work. Messaged customer service, sent phots etc. Reply was very disappointing not willing to replace or return due to wear on shoes, although these are less than 3 months old and only worn for work in the office. You can see on the shoe the pins hardly secure the heel on and no adhesive. **Update - replied to their response to my review, and disappointingly, same result. Will not buy shoes from this company again. May have just donated my cash to a charity **

READ THE SMALL PRINT....
Ordered a 46 jacket 31 leg online. My husband was passing the store and ended up purchasing the same suit. I didn't think it a problem because he could take the online one back. They will exchange the jacket and not the trousers. So when you click on what size you want that's it you have to have them.
I think this is ridiculous, they can be re sold he's not the only person who is a 31 leg. So now he has a suit with two pairs of trousers. Would never buy again from this store again as this policy is madness!

I had genuinely great experience today at Hawes & Curtis store in Brent Cross shopping centre. I was served by a sales consultant Ellie Smith, she was extremely polite and courteous while serving me. I was looking particular colour for my daughter's graduation and the suit I liked was not available in my size rather than she gave up.
She went to stock room to find other options and also went online to show me different options which was impressive as I had been to a few big stores where service was not even good enough to compare with the customer service and experience Ellie provided. I ended up choosing completely different suit all due to her great attitude and commitment towards her customers. Finally it was extremely nice of her manager who came out to say bye and thanking us for our visit to their store. Ellie thanks for your assistance and time. I will surely recommend my friends and family to your store to receive excellent customer experience.

It was easy to order at your online store.
I had a query regarding time of delivery & also a 15% discount on my first order. I was not aware of the discount until after I ordered.
Fatimah was excellent. She responded a short time after stating my order was being processed. The following day the item was posted. Without any hesitation she authorised a refund for the discount I should have had on my order.
I should receive the parcel from Royal Mail sometime today.
I love the blouse in the picture & hope it fits well size wise.

Purchased a pair of shoes on 14/06/2025 and returned on 19/06/2025 via DPD as they didn’t fit. Tried on in the house for little more than 10 seconds and too tight. On 01/07/2025 received notification via DPD of delivery back to Hawkes and Curtis and today received a email as follows:

The shoes were not worn by me.

I placed an order with Hawes & curtis on the 12th June, i received my parcel delivered by Royal mail on 20th June , the box was clearly tampered with, when i checked the contents an item was missing, i initially contacted Hawes & Curtis customer services by phone, they representative advised that i should send an email.
i sent an email and attached photos, i was then contacted by Laura who took ownership of the problem, after a couple of emails with Laura she ask me if wanted a refund or a replacement,i choose a replacement.
The missing item was delivered today 1st July all looks well.

Trying to return my order, portal says it doesn't recognise my order. I've contacted Hawes and Curtis twice. Nothing back.

The material and sizing has really gone down hill with this company; especially the non iron twill white and blue shirts, they're so itchy and have some sort of weird finish to them. Tried several times but always the same, I'd suggest Charles Tyrwhitt.

Bought 3 shirts, good quality product especially the material but not exceptional. Reason for my poor rating is terrible business model. While their customer service from the UK is responsive, they seem to be extremely limited for US and international customers. They keep referring me to Global-E which is a 3rd party service provider to handle non UK orders, they’re useless and not responsive at all. Global-E website is all Q&A, no way to contact directly not even by email.
This brand is not suited for doing business in the US until they fix their business model. You need to be able to return and exchange and make price adjustments if you want to compete with shirt makers brands like Charles Tyrwhitt who provides exceptional customer experience.
Unfortunately this will be my first and last order!

Received my first order today and to say I am absolutely delighted with the quality of my polo shirts and fit perfectly ( True to size )
Order tracking was spot on and delivered within a week .
Would highly recommend !
