My first visit and was very impressed
My first visit and was very impressed. Staff very pleasant. Helen was very professional and friendly, put me at ease. Was very informative, well explained and great to be able to see inside the ear on screen. Would definitely recommend.

Outstanding service.
My wife and I were both booked in at Specsavers in Ashby for earwax removal today. On arrival there, we were told that the person we were due to see was off sick. I was told he had tried to ring me. No message or email had been sent to me. As the Hearing Centre was nearby, I decided to pop in to see when they could offer us an appointment. The very pleasant receptionist explained that they were fully booked for the immediate future, but an audiologist then followed us out and told us she had 15 minutes before her next client was due and offered us that time. My need was urgent, and she quickly and efficiently cleared both ears in the time available. She even offered to check my wife's ears. This was exceptional service and very welcome, as I have a severe hearing impairment and my wife has advanced Alzheimer's disease and was very confused by the events. I will not be returning to Specsavers.

I had wax removal. This was done with care as I’d had a problem with one of my ears.

Goes beyond expectations
I booked a simple procedure (micro-suction) and was pleased to see that everything was explained & I could see images of the before/after.
What was special however was that I had been suffering with other issues and these were also looked at and later tests organised.

Second Visit
Visited the Birstall branch to have a buildup of wax removed from my ear which was causing me issues while in bed.
The branch is extremely clean and tidy.
Leanne is diligent and careful, and made sure to check that I was comfortable throughout the procedure. She is very friendly and puts you at ease immediately.
This was my second visit, the last one being a few years ago for the exact same issue.
The price is (still) reasonable for the skilled work taking place, and the amount you pay is less if just one ear is cleaned, as was my case.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE
I visited The Hearing Center for war wax removal. The first thing I noticed was how clean and comfortable the waiting area was.
I was walmly greeted by Sue, she put me at ease straight away. She briefly went through some things with me and told me who would be performing the procedure.
Helen performed the ear wax removal and she was simply amazing. She was kind, caring, but above all else she was one of the nicest people I could ever wish to meet. She explained everything to me and what she was doing. She kept checking I was OK even checking the water was warm enough. She was patient and I never felt any part was rushed.
I would recommend The Hearing Centre to anyone.

Excellent service
From start to finish, at every appointment I've had, I have been extremely impressed with the service I have received.
Leanne is so lovely, very professional and very friendly. She explains everything that is going to happen and discusses all the results with you. She listens and will resolve any concerns you may be feeling.
I would highly recommend The Hearing Centre.
