Hegarty sat on client monies
Hegarty promised to discount my fee due to an earlier aborted transaction but reneged on this promise due to the partner who made the promise moving departments. This was despite the partner still working for Hegartys. I would strongly urge people not to use this firm as they procrastinate and also misled me and tried to keep my funds which were due back to me. They also use non professional people who are junior employees with limited experience

Thank you for your feedback. Client care is extremely important to us, and so we would like to clarify some points for accuracy.
Our No Move No Fee policy is clearly set out in the documents you received and signed, and it was also explained during the matter. Your enquiry was referred to the Head of Department in line with our procedures, and you were advised she would be on annual leave, which may explain any delay.
The discount referred to relates to an alleged agreement from a number of years ago. However, we can find no record or evidence of this, and this was explained before your quote was issued. We are committed to transparency regarding the fees we charge, and clients are always informed of the likely cost of their matter at the outset before we proceed.
We would also like to reassure you that we do not use “non-professional” or inexperienced staff. Our conveyancing teams are led by experienced legal professionals, and all team members are trained, supervised, and supported appropriately, and matters are progressed promptly and in accordance with the information provided to us.
We remain committed to supporting all clients and are happy to continue addressing your concerns directly with you.

Hegarty's conveyancer was efficient and everything was completed, apart from the exchange of contracts, which was delayed by another party, in what appeared to me to be a short time.

Team Hegarty are simply the best!
We used them before on our first house purchase and they were great, hence we opted to use Hegarty again for our new home. The communication was brilliant and the team was always ready to help.
