Remmert and his wife are two absolutely incredible people. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them, and they go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect.
My son and I travelled to Phuket, Phi Phi, Krabi and Bangkok with Hello Island in May 2026, and everything was absolutely perfect. We had no problems at all and didn’t have to worry about a thing.
I would highly recommend Hello Island to anyone planning a trip to Thailand. You will definitely not regret it! ❤️🇹🇭

Effortless holiday. Hello Island took care of everything. Transport, shuttles, flights.
All the hotels were excellent. Overall a fantastic experience. Remmert from Hello Island tales care of every detail. You get boarding passes and holiday updates daily as your trip goes.

We booked this trip in October and a week later I was diagnosed with breast cancer. After surgery and intensive treatment we wanted to cancel but our doctors persuaded us to go. In Feb this year I was declared no evidence of disease and so this trip was truly the rainbow at the end of my storm. It was the best holiday of our lives. Every detail was meticulously planned by Hello Island and Remmert went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable and happy at all times. When i lost my bank card in the shuttle he had it returned within a few hours and even offered to pay for an additional hotel room from his pocket as we were unhappy with one of the beds in our room. Now that is customer care at its finest. We lost our hearts to Thailand and made such beautiful memories here that next year we are returning and bringing the rest of the family along. Thank you Hello Island for making our dreams come true and for being the rainbow at the end of our storm.

The planning of flights and travel transfers were stress free, the booklet with tips and places to go and restaurants variety was helpful and excellent. We were blown away at how easy it was to use taxis and boats. Everyday was full of adventures and new discoveries. Markets were clean and food so enjoyable. We were surprised! Phiphi island wasn't what we expected exactly, especially hotel with rock hard beds and rooms views not ideal, but the breakfast was out of this world and to be on the beach 24/7 was priceless.
This trip was overall very well priced and good value for money. As it was our first time to Thailand, we wouldn't planned it differently. We wanted to see and experience as much places as possible.
All accommodation were clean and exactly as on the pictures. Thank you to Remmert Malan and his team for the best family holiday and memories we could ever dreamt of! We are already planning the next one.

Hello Islands provided a personalised itinerary according to our need when we asked them. We never had any trouble and everything really went smooth, from the moment we arrived at the airport, the transfer to the hotel and checking in. We never had to wait. The whole experience was just easy and convenient. Their prices are also great and competitive since we compared their prices to other places and ended up going with them because of the good deal that we got.

Every detail of our trip was well planned. We had a wonderful tour with no hiccups at all. The booklet that we received a few days before our departure was of great help seeing that it contained all flight tickets, transfer vouchers, ferry tickets as well as recommendations about places to visit and things to do.

We have just returned from Thailand after booking a holiday with Hello Island. From arriving in Phuket to departing from Bangkok 2 weeks later, we had no troubles at all. Hotel transfers, hotel accommodation, ferry transfers and all bookings made by Hello Island, worked out perfectly and were on time.
The hotels were located very well and within walking distance of where we wanted to go. All the hotels had an excellent breakfast and the rooms were spacious and well-equipped.
We bumped into fellow South Africans at the hotel in Krabi, who had also booked with Hello Island, and we all agreed how well all the travel arrangements were made and that we would recommend Remmert and his team to all our friends.
