Increased fees by more than 2x from one year to the next without warning us in advance - only found out when received the invoice for the tax returns completed. Did not advise us that reducing payments on account could result in interest payments the following year. Refused to provide detailed asset register information necessary for us to take over the accounts effectively ourselves, despite these being standard information to transfer between accountants.

Our fees reflect the scope of work involved and the condition of the records provided, and are agreed accordingly.
We have provided all information required in line with our professional obligations, including final accounts, tax returns, and a supporting trial balance.
Internal working papers are not part of standard client records and are not routinely transferred. We will, of course, cooperate fully with any newly appointed accountant.
