Fraudulent marketing of over-priced Chinese hats.

Cap was defective when I got tried to return it and there's no way to return it or get in contact with them, do NOT buy from this company I repeat do NOT buy from this company. Looks like I'm out 30 bucks unless somebody's got a suggestion on how to get my money back.

Garbage company. Didn't ship for over a week until I complained and asked for a refund and suddenly it was too late to cancel because it just shipped. No, you shipped it after I complained.

Avoid them. The hat was average, but took a long time to receive. I tried to cancel but they said it was too late. They were responsive, but not helpful. I got a higher quality hat from Amazon in 2 days that was half the price.

Well I almost fell for it, backed out of order at last second. Remembered I got scammed a couple of years ago, similar type of scam. Ordered a fine looking heavy duty wool flannel shirt off Facebook ad. What was shipped was an awful shiny polyester disco shirt.

Henry and Wallace hatters(found on Instagram.) The site says quality caps .It says USA.I ordered the wool cap for $29.95 .Then I read reviews and Tried to cancel a few hours later ,they said too late already shipped.My wife looked at the site said shipped from overseas.The hat showed up it is 80% cotton 20% polyester made in China garbage.Scam scam scam scam beware.

I ordered 2 caps and then looked for reviews. All bad. I Emailed the company within 2 hours of ordering and told them to cancel the order. The next morning they answered my Email and informed me that it was too late, the items were already shipped. I called my bank and requested the money be refunded. We will see if any hats arrive. I doubt it. My bank did a charge back.

It's a scam, story made up ,it's made in China, when I received cap I ordered for my husband gift was laughing, it's piece of garbage, story of old man who retire touched me also i tip "him"$10 someone needs to stop them

I too fell victim to slick web site and advertising. I placed an order and subsequently checked reviews afterword. Two days after ordering , I emailed to cancel it and refund it as the order had not yet shipped. I subsequently was told it was too late. Tracking info proves otherwise. I began a daily dialogue via email only to be blatantly lied to repeatedly about origination of shipping address, and country of origin (China). Here’s the route it took:

1/12 I wrote REFUSED PACKAGE WITHOUT OPENING and took it my local post office. They scanned it and gave me a tracking number number.
HERE IS THE MOST INCREDIBLE PART- The return address on unopened package was listed like this:

UPON FURTHER INVESTIGATION - This address shows to be a SELF-STORAGE facility named:
KO Self Storage

COMPLETE SCAM! Hats are cheap crap made in China, shipped from China. "Henry" swore to me that they are made in the USA and shipped from the USA, but the Tracking Info shows they shipped from China. Took weeks to arrive. I took one look at the hats and realized they were cheap mass-produced garbage, and I asked for the Return/Refund instructions.
He offered 25% refund if I would just keep them.
I refused, and said I wouldn't keep them even if he gave me a 100% refund.
So then he offered 40% refund if I would keep them.
I refused again, and said I still wouldn't keep them even if he gave me a 100% refund, and I demanded the Return/Refund instructions.
In response, he offered a 70% refund if I would keep them.
I told him I was getting angry, and I demanded the Return/Refund instructions.
He sent the instructions, which say that in order to get a refund, the packages must be UNOPENED (each hat comes in a SEALED flimsy cellophane bag of the thinnest, weakest possible material, and it is NOT resealable), and you have to pay about $50 to ship them via USPS Priority Mail to this address:

ZERO STARS needs to be an option. Wait, actually NEGATIVE STARS!!!!! Worst purchase experience of my entire life!

A total scam. I should have know with the slick AI generated images. The caps are not handmade and not wool, more of a polyester blend. They all have "Made in China" tags

I ordered a cap and received it. Quality was not great. Only one shipping option was available: Express Shipping. That meant 4 weeks coming from China.

Delivery time was a little slow but the cap arrived. Quality not the best but sufficient. Overall I like the cap.

This company is deceptive and misleading. The caps are made and shipped from China. I placed an order for two caps December 17h and they have not been shipped as of the 20th. I emailed the company and they claimed the caps were carefully packaged and are on the way, but provided any meaningful tracking info. I believe I’m going to have to cut my losses and move on. I learned a valuable lesson to do better research before buying from an online company.

Hat was not handmade.There was a tag cut off on the back of the hat.
It originated in a foreign country (tracking info) not Boulder CO. My guess is TEMU.
He has no brick-and-mortar store in Boulder.
He's been "Going Out of Business" for almost 2 months now and I expect that it will continue indefinitely.

Claimed cap was delivered, sent photo of a map with my address and a photo of just the mailing label, not where the package was delivered. After complaining they said they were shipping another cap. Nothing.

I kept seeing ads for Henry's Caps. I like caps and the ad caught my attention. What jumped out at me was how everything screamed 'FRAUD'. I was intrigued, could it be as obvious as it seemed? Let's find out!

The ad shows a youthful old guy named Henry. He started making caps as a child, trained in the US and Italy, all as a child. He was retiring, and his very expensive caps he had made since the age of four years old had to be sold, so they were going at hundreds of dollars off. I was amazed, a $400 cap for $30? He must have been senile!

I saw the American flag, a patriotic tear welled up in my eye. That flag was next to ”free shipping in the USA". Ol' Henry, an American, flag, reference to the USA shipping, Everything read like some marketing expert wrote up the ad, word play, misrepresentation, all I thought was "China". The hats were basic Chinese made caps on line around $25.

I read the descriptions. Oh, first off the names were ridiculous, another hint Chinese marketers. I done been to college and can read so I saw words like blend, mixed fabric, tweed appearance. I had to order s cap. The asking for a tip to help pay for retirement was cute. Did I mention my career was in international logistics and govt compliance? Yeah ...

I watched the order...weird, the tracking number was China post and had verbage in Chinese. In all my years I never saw a product made in the US and sent to China to be shipped back. That would be dumb. The order cleared as part of low value bulk clearance. It was turned over to a Chinese delivery company and after 12 days my super high quality, tweed wool appearing, American made (ha!) caps, I got a cotton ish one as well, showed up in a plastic bag. Gotta be careful packaging those high end American made caps.

First thing is one cap had no label showing country of origin. That is a violation of US law. The cotton cap was about 30% too high in cost but a nice cap. The tweed wool appearing cap was fine for a cheap cap, also should have been 30% cheaper, I guess the difference covers that free shipping in the US. The cap is wearable. It is tweed appearing, but made of polyester, this a cheap looking fabric, and no where near the quality one expected if they believed the ad. I didn't, I just had to know.

This is a scam from the ad print, the photo of Henry the old child Labor victim, and is very misleading. The shiny polyester fake wool actually has the texture of burlap. I will return to not trusting anything on line unless I know the seller.

The packaging that my 3 caps came in was pathic. The caps were crushed and miss shaped. The caps are NOT well made at all. They are NOT made in USA. They are knock-offs from who knows where. I was sent the wrong size. This website "Henry's Caps" is a SCAM! DO NOT BUY!!!!

If I could I would give less than one star, I purchased 2 caps from this company and before I placed my order I wanted to make sure the caps were made and shipped from the USA since they claim to be a mom and pop store just going out of business. I was assured they were. (All lies). China is where they are made. First cap arrived In a cheap bag and cap was a cheap knock off of a cheap knock off that I wouldn't place on anyone's head. Next day the second cap arrived and was worse than the first one and smells like a dead rat. I had to place outside it smells so bad.
I have tried to resolve this issue with the company but they refuse to fix this matter. They say I can return at my cost which is B/S.
I purchased with PayPal so I figured I would put in a claim, you guessed it PayPal sided with Henry caps since I received these cheap pieces of crap.
Please please please don't purchase from this company. Complete lies.
