Mr. J***son,

This is a formal legal notice in response to your unsolicited and misleading communication dated 8/13/2025. Your message contains materially false statements regarding my obligations under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512), with the apparent intent to induce me into providing personal or business information under fraudulent pretenses.

For clarity:

The DMCA’s Designated Agent registration requirement applies solely to online service providers as defined in §512(k), not to individual authors who publish through third-party platforms.

Your assertion that failure to register a DMCA agent would result in “permanent loss” of my rights to enforce copyright is false and constitutes a misrepresentation of U.S. copyright law.

Any further contact of this nature will be considered harassment and an attempt at fraud.

Accordingly, you are hereby directed to:

Cease and desist from sending me any further misleading or deceptive communications.

Remove my contact information from any solicitation or mailing lists you maintain.
