Sells flooded out vehicles
Sold us a 2018 Charger to find out it had been flooded out before! The dealership I have it at now said that whoever we bought it from went through alot of trouble to cover up the fact that it had been flooded out. Have filed 2nd complaint with State AG office (had to file 1st one to get the title). This is not a salvage title as it should have been if flooded. Please do NOT buy a car from these CROOKS!!
Review: Unprofessional Service and Overpriced Vehicles
Review: Unprofessional Service and Overpriced Vehicles
I recently visited location: 6737 SOUTHWEST FWY, HOUSTON, TX 77074 to inquire about a car listed at $13,700. Upon inspection, I discovered that the vehicle had been involved in three accidents, which raised serious concerns for me regarding its condition and value.
When I brought this issue to the sales person's attention, I was dismissed and told the manager would be consulted. However, when the manager approached me, he rudely asked me to leave the store instead of addressing my concerns.
I found this level of customer service completely unacceptable. Itâs important for customers to feel heard and respected, especially when making significant purchases like a vehicle. I would advise potential buyers to proceed with caution and consider other dealerships that value their customers' inquiries and concerns.

We bought a truck. The truck had a check engine light on. They said they would fix it. We took it back and left it. We came back to pick
It up they said they fixed it. We got on freeway and it came back on. We have called so many times and they never return our call. We are going to take it back up there and give them the keys. Just interested in selling you a car with all the warranties l, but they donât want to fix anything. DONT BUY FROM THEM UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET CHEATED AND END UP A TRUCK THAT IS A PIECE OF JUNK. it is a shame we are paying for a truck that just sits in the driveway. Because we donât want it to

This was probably the worst car buyingâŠ
This was probably the worst car buying experience of my life. Here is the story: We found a car we liked on Car Gurus. They connected us to a car dealer, HGreg.com in Orlando, and set up a visit there. We received numerous follow up texts from HGreg confirming our appointment we even received a price reduction update a couple of days prior to our scheduled visit. We drove 2 hours to the dealership just to find out that the car had left their lot three weeks prior even. We were understandably upset and frustrated. The car salesman and his manager told us that this was not their fault because they do not create the listings or the appointments. Indeed, the car salesman (who looked like a kid fresh out of juvie) complained that we were âgiving him attitude.â Trying to make the best of an awful situation, we tried to look at cares that the Orlando dealership would be able to ship in from somewhere else. Thatâs when we found out that HGreg, besides the ubiquitous $899 âfiling feeâ (which everybody knows is bogus and pure dealer profit), adds on a suite of vehicle âprotectionâ services to the tune of over four thousand dollars. The car salesman swore that he cannot take these additions of the off because they âhad already been applied to the car.â The car we looked at was ultimately over $10k more expensive that what had been listed on their website. Thatâs when we left â knowing that this was not a place where we would like to buy a car â ever! I am still at a loss for words as to how horrible the experience was. It felt sleazy and dishonest. The staff showed very little respect for us as clients and for fair sales practices in general.
Apparently, the car we came to the dealership for, the one that had left the lot 3 weeks earlier, is still listed on HGreg Orlandoâs website as of today.
Bait and switch tactics in their salesâŠ
Bait and switch tactics in their sales model. I used to sell cars and the tactics they use are despicable and deceiving. In most places when you see the price of the car listed it includes the prep, repairs and inspection of the vehicle as part of overhead. What they do is list the price of the vehicle about $3600 lower to bait the buyer to come in and drive. Then call the buyer to confirm and even specify the time. Mysteriously the vehicle the buyer wishes to purchase is now being serviced and cannot be seen, (none of this mentioned in the prior calls). Then the buyer selects another vehicle in the inventory with a similar price.Â
In my experience the 2 cars we saw were filthy and one had battery corrosion (looks like it exploded) all over the battery. The car we chose smelled of urine and the seller agreed it was filthy and he would have it cleaned and shampooed. I also made note of the tire valve caps rattling around in the side compartment of the door with the letter "N" on them indicating Nitrogen (not on the tires) and the service light came on.
We agreed to take the next step because the price lined up with our budget. We are told there was no negotiation of price which is OK, as I have dealt with Carmax and the price on the website seemed reasonable. Then, we sit down and the numbers are $3600 dollars more with a bunch of elevated "fees" not listed in the Ad. Fees for a prep package for (ceramic windshield coating, nitrogen filled tires, antimicrobial cleaning, paint and fabric protection) $1299. These things were clearly, NOT done on the vehicle considering how filthy it was. Then there was the $1899 for dealer repairs. Once again, with the service light coming on during the drive, it was clear this was not done either. Finally, an electronic registration fee (whatever that is) for $899. Here I thought the registration of the vehicle was included in the inflated tax and tag fees ($500 for a tag transfer)? So the vehicle is now well out of budget for my college age son. The manager tried to justify these fees and I said we need those removed as they should be included in the price on the AD, to which he showed me some very tiny print at the bottom of the Ad that no one would see. I challenged him again stating that this was dirty bait and switch tactics. When he went to look at if he could get more for my trade the salesman stated he agreed with me but everywhere in Florida does it this way. (Good cop, bad cop). We drove 2 hours through a torrential downpour to see a vehicle that was unavailable and then be sold on fees that should have been included in the price on the Ad. We left with several hours wasted and very upset.
This place will trick you out of your money
this place will try and steal your money! they advertise one price on the internet and then add dealer fees of $3600. what a waste of time. buyer beware.
Scam scam scam!!
Scam scam scam!!! Hgreg sold me a lemon. One month after purchased the SUV, I needed to replace the STARTER which costed me $1,500. Come to find out the SUV they sold me has 2 open recalls that does not have a solution for! How is that even legal and how do these people sleep at night? Totally disappointed and wish I read these reviews before wasting my time and money with these crooks. Lesson learned :/.

They force you to pay a Elite Protection Plan for 1,495 that covers Paint, Fabric and Tire. Of course i don't needed it.
They told me it was a fool decision not to buy the Gap insurance for 1,499.
With my high credit score a company called Ally gave me an interest of 15.7%.
I ended up paying 20,000 plus the extremely high interest for a car that is worth 13,000.
I will post this review on a weekly basis.

Does not stand behind their promises!!
H Greg states "At HGreg.com, we stand behind the quality of our vehicles and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase" and I let them know less than 24 hours after purchasing the vehicle that it had a list of things that I noticed wrong with it. They had my car for almost a week and I got it back and it was still making the same noise as before and they are refusing to fix or do anything else about the noise continued to hear because according to them, they could only replicate it once "and then refuse to tell me even what is causing the noise other than repeatedly telling me that it's not a safety issue, but won't tell me what the grinding and creaking noise actually is. They refused to tell me why the statement on the website says " At HGreg.com, we stand behind the quality of our vehicles and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase" but now they are telling me that it's only referring to the safety of the vehicle, not if any repairs are needed that aren't safety related, which at this point I don't trust as their website also states that " All of our vehicles undergo a multi-point inspection and spend more than a week being reconditioned before becoming part of our inventory. Our cars may have a history, but they have nothing to hide." But yet I immediately became aware of a major issue less than 24 hours after purchasing the vehicle that turned out to be a bent axle. How does a car get a pass with a multipoint inspection and be reconditioned for over a week but a Bent axle was not discovered until I brought it to their attention, and I am not even a mechanic? That should have been discovered BEFORE I BOUGHT IT!! They're also refusing to wait for me to come in tomorrow to replicate the noise for them, only if I do it today before 5pm but I don't have the ability to do that due to not having a ride there because they have my vehicle.
Do you realize that I was sold a vehicle with a bent axle that you failed to observe during your "multipoint inspection". ?!?! That means your judgement is impaired at best, non-existent at worst, which means a second opinion could be life saving, depending on what else you've missed. Do the right thing. Be better. Do better.
Be warned! HGreg cars are junk!
Be warned! Don't EVER buy a car from HGreg!
They got me! It is the worst experience. The cars are junk, their fees are junk and their practices are deceptive. Against my better judgment, I trusted their deceptive advertising about the quality of their cars and reassurances of their high pressure salesmen. I GOT SCAMMED!
In the 3 weeks since weâve had the car, my daughter has been stranded with a dead battery that cost almost $500 to replace, itâs been in the shop 3 times and we are now facing estimated repairs of $7,000 for major issues that shouldâve been caught if they truly did inspect before selling us as they advertised on their website. All this on a 2018 vehicle with 54,000 miles.
I spoke to the general manager, Randy, and he said thereâs nothing he can do. I havenât even made the first car payment yet! You mean to tell me their pre-sale inspection did not see these issues? I shouldâve known something was wrong when they didnât allow us to drive the car home, but instead said there was an accounting issue and proceeded to deliver the car on a tow truck to my house the next day.
I have learned the hard way not to trust the people at HGreg and want to warn you. These independent reviews did not lie.
How these people sleep at night selling crap cars under false pretenses is beyond me!
They are the worst!! Stay away!!! Stay far away! I wish I did!!!
HGREG WILL NOT SELL OUT OF STATE
HGREG WILL NOT SELL OUT OF STATE
I'm a very qualified out of state buyer.
I'm willing to put down 50+% and have 750+ credit with a pre-approved loan from a local credit union.
I'm interested in a 2017 F Type they have posted on their site, I've called and l've messaged, I've submitted one form or another five or six times and no one will take or return my call, or respond to my messages.
I can only assume it is because they won't sell out of state, which is their prerogative, but if that is the case they should just say so and not ignore me entirely.

Honestly it I could leave 0 stars IâŠ
Honestly it I could leave 0 stars I would!! I had a horrible experience with them yesterday. I told the salesman upfront my credit was not good. I test drove 5 different cars was there close to 7 hours. Then they had me test drive a car I would most likely be approved to get. Keep in mind if you read up on them, they approve 99 percent of people! Total ð€¬ . Then was signing all this paperwork thinking I was approved for the vehicle I test drove, only to find out I wasnât. I would recommend this place to anyone!!!!!! I drive 45 minutes out of my way and waited 7 hours for nothing! People should never be treated like that!
Run AWAY from HGreg unless they Publicly Change their Ways
Things started out like they always do with sales people, happy and everyone seemed genuinely concerned about me. They put into writing the things that obviously needed to be fixed, mainly, the A/C did not work and the idle was very rough. I needed a car, the deal seemed fair and if they were willing to fix those things? Why wouldn't I continue forward!?
Once I was with their "closers" and "finance people" all the problems began. I have almost an 800 credit score, which is clearly basically perfect credit. The only deal they could find for me was an 18% interest rate!? I told them I was preapproved at my Credit Union (out of state) and they obviously reluctantly went along with me. Their exact words, "Let us close this deal with you today but we will hold the deal seven days, as long as you get the money wired to us within a week we wont submit this loan." It was a big risk clearly but they had everything in writing. I signed everything left with the suburban and went home (with this sorta bad feeling in my stomach. hoping i didnt do anything wrong.)
The A/C immediately went from bad to worse. They agreed to fix it, I scheduled the appointment, went back to the dealer and waited for them to fix the A/C. Then I was approached by the Finance Manager who let me know, "We arent going to let you leave the dealership without your credit union wiring the money!" I was in shock.
They took back their promise to fix the idle and were forcing me to take their loan, which oddly enough was now 12%? (They never mentioned how it went from 18% to 12%!? But the rate was lowered.) Remember they told me "Sorry this 18% rate is the best we can do...
Long long story short. They gave me all of 2 hours to either have my credit union wire them (even though I still had 5 days to complete the loan according to their original promise. And I was actually wiring the money that day!?) or take their garbage loan... or they would give me my (trade-in) car back and let me go my way
Without much thought, I left, grateful that I dodged a bullet.
What they do is they show you low prices on cars and then load you up with junk fees and try to force you into horrible loans!! That is their business model. It's a business model built off of old fashioned used-car dealer tricks and deceptions.
BUYER BEWARE
Worst experience I have ever had.
I recently purchased a car from H Greg Car Dealership, and my experience has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. I was excited to get a new vehicle, but this excitement quickly turned into regret when I discovered significant damage to the car that was not disclosed at the time of sale. The damage to the car make this car unsafe to drive.
Upon bringing this issue to the dealership's attention, I was shocked by their response. Instead of taking responsibility and offering to rectify the situation, they outright refused to help and blamed me for the damage. Their claim was that it was the customer's fault, which is both unfair and unprofessional. They also didnât seem to care about my safety or the safety of my family when we talked to them about this issue.
As a customer, I expected a certain level of integrity and accountability from a reputable dealership like H Greg. Unfortunately, they failed to meet even the most basic standards of customer service.
Not only did they refuse to address the damage, but their dismissive attitude also made the entire experience even more unpleasant.
I strongly advise potential buyers to be cautious when dealing with H Greg Car Dealership. Make sure to thoroughly inspect any vehicle before purchase and be aware that if issues arise post-sale, the dealership may not be willing to assist you. This experience has been a hard lesson learned, and I hope others can avoid the same unfortunate situation.
In conclusion, my experience with H Greg Car Dealership has been highly unsatisfactory. Their refusal to take responsibility for selling a damaged car and their unhelpful attitude toward resolving the issue are major red flags. I will not be returning to this dealership, and I advise others to think twice before making a purchase here.

Pushy salesman and manager
I couldn't make it to the dealership to look at a car I am buying for my daughter for her college car because my daughter is a camp counselor and cannot break away during the week and can only view cars on Friday evening or Saturday. After explaining this to the salesman several times, I received a text from Raul, the manager, wanting to know when I can come in. Relax, mofos. Geeze....
