Best people in the business who actually enjoy the hobby of nurturing exotic plants themselves. Great service from tree fern selection till delivery.

Received the email notification that some seeds I was after were back in stock so I placed the order. I was sent an email that evening advising they would be shipped the next day and I received them soon after. Seeds look to be good quality. Very happy with the service and my order.

It’s been 6wks since my purchases arrived, they came via Royal Mail on time , they had no front , but you could see them in the crown. I brought two, one I chose the other was selected by Lewis who owns the company.. I’m delighted, my fern trees went from flat to orangutan fingers to the most beautiful throngs ..

This company was incredibly helpful. I live too far to visit to look at the Tree Ferns, so I informed the company of my budget and what types I wanted, and they meticulously took the time to take photos of their stock and I selected from these. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Plus they were always quick to respond, and really their customer service was fantastic, they really went beyond my expectations. The tree ferns were well packaged, and when delivered they had already been thoroughly watered so I didn’t have to panic. What a fantastic team, and thank you. I will definitely be ordering from them again. Excellent value for money.

Amazing tree ferns! Hillside Exotics are brilliant .So looking forward to getting the next two members of my tree fern family ! Really good customer service. Waiting to deliver so that the fronds have hardened off which is very wise and shows that they care very much about their tree ferns. Lovely that they sent me photos of how they are looking! I have just bought and collected a 3.5ft gorgeous Dicksonia Tree Fern - when I arrived there Lewis was outside to greet me.
He had my Tree Fern on display in the front so that I could see it before the tree was wrapped for transport (that was a lovely touch 🤩).
Lewis then wrapped the fern up beautifully and, with help, loaded it into my car 😁.
I was then treated to a coffee and tour of their most beautiful magical garden …. An exotic overload of numerous Tree Ferns , some amazing unusual ones, like the three trunk super chunky, curved or the L shaped beauty and many many more. These were joined by other exotic plants; along with an Ensete Ventricosum Maurelii and a Colocasia China Pink that managed to find their way into my car too 😳
The plants were in great condition and obviously loved by Lewis and his wife, who dedicates all her time now to running this great specialist Company!
I had been sent a Care Guide and Lewis gave me loads of advice and tips whilst we were walking around.
As far as Shopping Experiences go, I thought this was exciting, informative and a real pleasure to experience!
Thank you to Lewis and his wife! If you are looking for a Tree Fern, IMO, you can’t do any better than getting yours from Hillside!
