While it's not super cheap to set up, Hitch'd is awesome. The interface is very user friendly and has a lovely aesthetic compared to a LOT of registries (in New Zealand specifically).

It's great that you can select the currency and that it's accessible from around the world/not isolated to one country.

I had a couple of times where I needed support, the Hitch'd team was very quick to respond and super helpful/efficient (even with external software/platforms that Hitch'd integrates with).

Create a modern type of gift list, but don't categorise traditionalists as 'tacky'. Very unpleasant approach.

Very unflexible company and poor technology compared to other platforms. Avoid at all costs

I recently signed up for Hitchd in anticipation of my wedding, attracted by its promise of streamlined wedding services. However, my experience with the platform quickly turned sour when unforeseen circumstances led to the need to change our wedding plans. Despite my efforts to communicate with their customer service team and explain the situation, Hitchd proved to be inflexible and unresponsive.

Upon signing up, I had high hopes for Hitchd's offerings, hoping it would simplify the often daunting task of wedding planning. Sadly, however, life doesn't always go according to plan, and due to reasons beyond our control, my partner and I had to make significant changes to our arrangements.

I reached out to Hitchd's customer service promptly, detailing the circumstances and politely requesting a refund given that we had not engaged with or utilized any of their services. Despite attempts to reach out and explain our situation, the responses were minimal, and certainly not helpful.

What frustrated me the most was the lack of empathy and understanding from Hitchd's team. It's understandable that companies have policies in place, but exceptional circumstances call for flexibility and compassion. Unfortunately, Hitchd appeared to be unwilling to accommodate our situation, leaving us feeling disregarded and taken advantage of.

As a consumer, I value transparency, responsiveness, and empathy in the companies I choose to engage with. Regrettably, Hitchd fell short on all these fronts. Not only did they fail to provide the promised services, but their refusal to address our genuine concerns and provide a refund demonstrates a lack of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.

In conclusion, my experience with Hitchd has been overwhelmingly negative. I would caution anyone considering using their services to think twice, especially if you anticipate the possibility of unforeseen changes to your wedding plans. There are plenty of other platforms and services available that prioritize customer support and understanding, qualities sorely lacking in Hitchd's approach. Try Zola, they are fantastic.

I am using Hitch to organize my sister's honeymoon fund, and I must say that the entire experience was really user-friendly. It is a really intuitive platform to use, and you can organize the gifts in a really nice-looking way for friends/family to contribute.

The platform allowed me to personalize the gift contribution, making it a meaningful and memorable addition to my sister's honeymoon plans.

The only downgrade would be the fee charged by paying the gifs with a credit card ( a bit higher than expected 1.4% + €0.25), but you can also ask for payment through bank transfer.

Overall, I would recommend Hitch to anyone looking to contribute to a honeymoon fund or organize a similar group gift. The platform's user-friendly design, transparency in fund allocation, and reliable transaction process make it a standout choice for those seeking an efficient and enjoyable gifting experience.

Hitchd has been incredibly helpful, making our honeymoon fund so simple and easy. Allowing our guests to see what we are planning for our honeymoon and choose what activity they want to contribute too. Beautiful designs and easy template to work with. 100% recommend

Hitchd can work out as costing more than other providers, but you get what you pay for. The look, feel and user experience is super smooth. The dashboard and updates are simple and just what we needed. Really happy with the experience.

I browsed several other similar sites before deciding and I found Hitchd to be the easiest to set up and with lots of options.
I have reached out to Hitchd with questions along the way and the response was always very helpful.

Hitch’d has an extremely easy to use interface, great and responsive customer service and made the honeymoon registry experience very personal and unique! I would highly recommend using them to competitors. They also have a very clear straightforward process with no gimmicks. Get your money right away, get alerts when there are contributions made, really that simple! 10/10!
