Homeowners Alliance answered my query about damage to my roof with an email that give me options of possible solutions and also reference to further information on their website which offers advice and information on a multitude of issues that affects all homeowners in one way or another..

I am a leaseholder with a bureaucratic, unbothered, and it appears miserly freeholder. HOA were the only body (of several approached over months) to provide an expeditious and comprehensive summary of options forward. I won't go into detail, but they provided some incredibly late-hour nuggets of gold. Thank you for being there. Extremely generous.

We are in the process of buying a leasehold apartment in a building with two other apartments in it. Both of the other two are freehold but through some unknown historic reason ours isn’t.
We have approached the lawyer who is doing our conveyancing on the purchase to look into the possibility of obtaining the freehold.
