Very useful while on holidays in remote part of Western Australia; however, our consultations were so varied in length, depth, and staff interest. All four of us were really unwell with Influenza A and RSV so we ended up contacting Hola Health 8 times over a four day period. Some staff were 4/5 star whereas others were more like 3 star. The wait times for appointments were a lot longer than advertised every single time we made contact with the service

I called up because I needed a medication (a repeat script) for my HEART, and I got hung up on the first time because the first time. I couldn't hear the Dr. At all. So she hung up on me. I said I didn't get to see her (they ask). So they booked a second appointment - the phone rang twice, I mean two rings (10 seconds max) then stopped. and I missed it by literally a second or two. The first time I called the "helpline" - don't bother with that ð¡ - they say it's the wrong number. Is this a scam? I paid for this ðð¡ Dr Caroline Soire.

Waited over two hours and x 3 I waited in a waiting room, for three different practitioners, just for the practitioner to say they missed me. By the third one I noticed about a 10 second window between the SMS saying they were ready, me refreshing the screen and receiving a screen that said âsorry we missed youâ. What an absolute joke.

The only use for this service is for a repeat prescription.
It cannot replace a visit to the doctor to diagnose. Their advertising is misleading.
SCAM: The consultation did not proceed
The consultation did not proceed. The doctor connected to the call late, then almost immediately terminated it, citing "technical issues" claiming she could not hear my microphone. No clinical service whatsoever was delivered. No attempt was made to reconnect, contact me by phone, or reschedule. This pattern â late join, immediate disconnection with a technical excuse, and failure to re-engage â is well documented in public reviews of Hola Health on TrustPilot and in both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. The pattern strongly suggests a systematic practice of collecting consultation fees while deliberately avoiding delivery of service, rather than experiencing genuine technical failures.

Great experience My jobâs nature does not allow me to attend any event or even a doctorâs appointment randomly. Thankfully, Hola Health is here to help me whenever I need medical assistance. The doctors here are available round the clock. The best thing is that they also give a digitally signed prescription and medical certificate for further use.

Didn't wait too long for a Monday night appt. I was sucked in by the "bulk bilking".
Yes my appt was bulk billed, but all my appts are, as I have a pension card.
Nowhere did Hola prompt or ask for my concession card details.

Went to order the script, and only given the option of a $50 private script. Again, I'm a pensioner. I had $80 to last a fortnight.
Also seems to be a monopoly with pharmacy- I have 3 within walking distance yet I could only order through Terry White, not the one within walking distance! One quite a distance away.
I called the pharmacy, and was told pay the $50 or find another doctor. They offered no other alternatives.
Thankfully got onto my regular GP cancellation list, NOT with Hola. Received 2 PBS scripts and had them filled within 12 hours.
I will avoid Hola in future if they are only going to rx private scripts- the doctor gave me no other option.
So both the Hola doctor, and the Hola monopolised pharmacist let me down.
Did not get what I paid for
I paid for a meducal certificate but it never arrived. I did get a receipt to my email but no certificate. I emailed the support email but never heard back. Dodgy service
incapable of care or seriousness.
They arenât even capable of answering simple questions. I have been desperately awaiting a response for days to my query and it has caused me unexplainable grief. It takes almost 24hours to get a response and when I do get it, itâs in the middle of the night and theyâre just repeating my question back to me, no help. No answers at all. They cause further mental illness. I have been robbed $63 and the only thing I gained was more trauma and not a mental health care plan. I have no idea what is happening. They are not human at all.

It was the first time I tried Hola Health. As a working professional, it is hard for me to meet the doctors in person. But this platform is a savior. Whenever I need instructions for any medical condition, I just book my appointment here. Within a few minutes, an expert established clear communication to help me.
Easy and quick refunds
I paid for the appointment, but did not attend it due to my schedule. Thus, I contacted the customer support of Hola Health and explained the whole scenario. The team members were nice and initiated my refunds after validating everything. So happy with the quick refunds and customer support provided.
Awful service
Awful service. They advertise a 15-minute wait time. I have had family members use this site and wait for 2.5+ hours. When the Dr finally came, they said they couldn't hear as their audio wasn't working. The Dr said they would ring back, so the patient was forced to wait another few hours, but they never called again. Beware, as this service may be a scam. The customer service team are all offshore and provide no help at all.

They left me waiting for an hour and a half.. and only after sending emails to their support did I get a response saying they can't find my booking.. asking me to reply with my personal information including DOB by email (who are these clowns)... I eventually got another reply telling me (in a badly copy/pasted response with diff text colour and font to the rest)
"Thank you for booking with Hola Health. The practitioner has reviewed the questionnaire you submitted and unfortunately, it is incomplete. As a result, the doctor is unable to proceed with your appointment.
We will need to cancel your current booking. Please complete the questionnaire in full and rebook your appointment at your convenience.
We are processing your refund, please note it can take 5-10 business days to reach your account. We apologise for any inconvenience caused."
No actual details of what was missing (this was a very basic appointment) and meanwhile my browser was still open and allegedly waiting for the doctor to connect.
Absolute shambles. It would suggest to me that since there is massive amount of 5* reviews, and then nothing inbetween until a bunch of 1* reviews, most of the reviews are bought - and that this is a complete cowboy operation, taking advantage of poor regulation and standards in the telehealth field.

AVOID them at all cost. Complete waste of time, website says you will get a consultation within 15 minutes. Paid and waited nearly 2 hours for them to say I missed their call? I was waiting the whole time and did not even get a consult that i paid for. Customer service is also super slow to respond replying with generic emails.

Forget Finestride as a prescription
I wanted a script for Finestride. Website offred a click on to the right product. Paid $18.90 and waited 20+ minutes to be told that "due to rule changes" the product could not be offered. Waste of $$ and time, Went to another provider and they provided a script. This is for hair loss FFS and I got royally screwed.
