I booked a holiday for June 2025 with Keith, at the time of booking he offered to upgrade my cabin on the Nile Cruise at a cost of £500 which I did. When I got on the boat in Egypt all the cabins on the boat were exactly the same, I contacted Holidayjet on my return to request a refund for the £500 which was taken under false pretenses for 6 months I was given the run around and never got to contact the same person twice, they have now stopped returning any of my email. This company has no ethics. Do Not use them.

12MAR26: day 9 waiting refund.
1Mar26: Had a response advising they will refund all monies paid in next 10days. . . which is a relief, but still disappointed that we’re not about to go on our dream holiday.
27Feb: They change the details to match what they can afford and not what you pay for. In 2024 we paid for a weeks trip on the Nile and a week at a specific hotel, that we are familiar with and wished to return in 2026. We should be travelling on a dream holiday next week . . but by pure chance (due to asking about extra leg room on the flight) we were told:
1) the flight date had changed, pulled forward a day.
2) the accommodation had changed from a adult complex to a fun park! (no thank you, not for us).
3) the cruise ship had changed (actually changed 2times - downgraded)
4) the 23Kg luggage was no longer allowed, even though we had booking confirmation for it. We could have a small carry one bag - for two weeks!

I’ve just booked my March getaway with Galaxy Holiday, and I have to give a massive shout-out to Ben Thomson. To be honest, I didn't have the best start with some of the previous staff I spoke to, but once Ben took over the chat, everything just fell into place.
He went above and beyond, even calling me personally to reassure me and make sure I was comfortable with the booking. He’s the definition of a 5-star professional—he made sure I received every email and receipt promptly for each payment made. If you get the chance to speak with Ben, consider yourself privileged! I’m now actually looking forward to my holiday thanks to his help

Cruise ship food staff excellent very helpful in aspects. Excursions to high dam and island temple trip,brilliant guide and driver were best we have ever had, car personal personal to our requirements 5 stars 🌟 all round thanks Jack holidayjet
