Course not approved for PA license
August 27,2026: Regarding the purchase of a course that is not approved for PA license: it would be very helpful if courses were clearly marked or grouped to identify those that are approved by both ASHA and state licensure. I wrongly assumed they all were. Personally, I would most likely not purchase a course/take a course that is not approved by both. I did not notice until I went to review the course details after purchase. Just an inconvenience in getting a refund but very glad I noticed before I took the course.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry for the confusion regarding state licensure approval. Our Customer Service team has reached out to you directly.
We would also like to reassure you that, under 49 Pa. Code § 45.505, continuing education courses approved by ASHA are deemed approved by the Pennsylvania State Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
If you need any additional help, please reach out to us directly at 800-554-2387 so we can address your concerns. We appreciate your patience.
