Just to clarify for transparency: flat pack furniture is not pre-assembled and is delivered boxed for self-assembly, which is standard across the industry. As outlined on our product pages and in our confirmation emails, flat pack items are doorstep delivery only and do not include setup.

We also work with a made-to-order model for many flat pack pieces, which means they are not held in stock and must be ordered in specially. This is so we can offer more variety at better prices for our customers.

First and foremost, I would like to sincerely apologize for the frustration and inconvenience you've experienced with the delivery of your sofa. I completely understand how disappointing and upsetting it must have been to wait all day, only to be told the sofa wouldn't be arriving as expected. This is certainly not the level of service we aim to provide.

It’s clear that communication fell short, and I deeply regret that you were left in the dark, especially after being reassured multiple times. I also understand how difficult it can be to be without a sofa, particularly when you have small children to care for. This is far from the experience we want our customers to have.

Please rest assured that I am investigating what went wrong with your delivery to ensure this doesn’t happen again. In the meantime, I would be happy to work with you to arrange a new delivery time or offer any other solutions to get the sofa to you as soon as possible.
