My account was bought by HonorHealth from Cigna MA and it has been a nightmare ever since. I have spent hours on hold and I still don't have a doctor!!! They assign them (eventually), but my insurance won't take them. Their online tools are abismal and you can't call a doctor's office without an hour long wait.

The doctors at Honor Health are excellent, but there is a significant breakdown in communication between the medical staff and the billing department. When you visit a doctor for a specific issue, you are assigned a diagnosis. However, if a test is billed based simply on the symptoms you present, there should be a diagnosis code to indicate what is wrong. It is unclear whether the doctor or the billing staff is responsible for labeling the test as routine, which is incorrect. If there are no health issues and a test is ordered just as a precaution, that is considered routine.

I often request a code review after receiving the bill, but they consistently respond that the doctor's notes support the codes used. All three members of my family use Honor Health, and we face this issue every time we visit the doctor. They consistently struggle to get it right. To resolve these problems, my insurance company often has to conference call the Honor Health billing department to explain how to handle these situations properly. We are all considering leaving Honor Health because we are tired of navigating this issue with every visit.
