The delivery was quite disappointing, they left my freezer outside the building! They were suppose to deliver 2 days before, but they delivered when they wanted and without clear previous notice, not even a phone call to tell me they were on their way, just until they got to the building (before the estimated time of arrival) and since it was too early, and I couldnt answer their call, they just approved the dirver to leave it in the street, very unsafe for an equippment of more than 1 thousand euros. Also inconvenient because it is super mega heavy and we had to gather people to put it inside. You need to improve your delivery service.

Wij hadden met spoed een nieuwe doorschuifvaatwasmachine nodig. Op dinsdagmiddag komen kijken en op vrijdagmiddag stond het toestel er. Geheel klaar voor gebruik. De heren van de installatie hebben de keuken vervolgens piekfijn achtergelaten.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience has been extremely disappointing ,especially for a company selling âprofessionalâ equipment to businesses that depend on reliability.
I purchased a brand new Maxima Bakker 800L freezer through Horeca.com. Just 7 days after delivery, the freezer stopped freezing properly and could no longer reach the set temperature of -22°C. As a result, I lost a significant amount of prep and stock for my business.
I immediately contacted customer service and was asked to provide multiple photos and videos, which I did straight away. Horeca.com then needed to âcontact Maxima,â a process that already took two full days while my products were defrosting.
After turning the freezer off for 24 hours and restarting it, it temporarily seemed to work again. No technician was sent, no replacement offered, and no actual solution was provided.
Two weeks later, exactly the same issue happened again. Another batch of products lost.
I contacted customer service again on May 4th. To my surprise, I was once again instructed to fully defrost the freezer. For a professional freezer in a working horeca business, having to defrost the unit every couple of weeks is obviously not a realistic or acceptable solution.
I followed all instructions regardless, and the freezer still does not function properly.
To be fair, the employee handling the emails was initially responsive and polite. However, after I requested immediate action due to the freezer being brand new and still under warranty, communication completely stopped.
Today, May 8th, I called again and was promised a callback to discuss a solution. That callback never came.
Now itâs the weekend, meaning I will likely be left without a functioning freezer, without updates, and without support for at least several more days, while continuing to risk further losses to my business.
A professional kitchen cannot operate like this. Equipment failures can happen, but the real test of a company is how they handle the problem afterward. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend Horeca.com or Maxima to any serious horeca business that depends on proper aftersales service and urgent technical support.
