smooth process, lots of info snd very helpful digital guide

A fabulous cottage with great facilities and in fantastic location in Helmsley with some great pubs and food. The only concern we had was the outer main door to the cottage didn't lock ? The actual door to cottage did but still feel the main door should be lockable but had great few days & will stay again .

Lovely cottage on Holy Island. Warm, welcoming and well equipped.

This apartment was in ideal central location it was very clean and tastefully done , we would definitely return again :)

Well appointed flat. Parking space very valuable and handy. Only negative was that the bathroom space was tight for the larger type of person.

From booking to check out, we’ve been really impressed. Questions were answered promptly and should we have needed to, I would’ve felt very happy to get in touch with any issues. There weren’t any though!
The house is so homely and well set up, and the bed… comfiest bed I’ve slept in for ages! The location is superb as it’s a gentle 10 min stroll into beautiful Whitby centre.
Honestly can’t recommend it enough.

Lovely site quiet but with everything required. Lodge itself was well equipped and presented, ideal for a short or long break. Great location !

We enjoyed are stay with Host & Stay, are apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Bedroom was comfortable and quite. Walking distance to city centre.

These apartments are situated in such a beautiful quiet location of the city, but still within walking distance of most things, the apartment itself was nicely decorated and had everything you needed for a short to even long stay I would say. Nicely size TV’s in both bedrooms and a huge one in the lounge area, but can’t say I used them as was there to celebrate my sons wedding, only complaint is , the remote for tv in smaller bedroom, ran out of batteries power, on the 2nd night so mother in law couldn’t use it. Shower easy to use, and I will add as these are not stated on any website or booking dot com, they is a hairdryer in both bedrooms and a good standard so feel free not to take your own.

A beautiful decorated home with lots of personality in each room. The rooms are spacious where everyone has personal space for themselves. the cinema/chill area downstairs is perfect for a movie, games night, family nights, romantic evenings. The decking is wonderful if you want to chill out in an outside space especially nice with a bottle of wine and some snack and watch the sunset in Brighton in summer, Additionally this house is in a prime sport for going to the shops, restaurants, cafes and a short distance from the famous Brighton beach! My family enjoyed their stay. I must also thank the team at Host and Stay who were very helpful. I look forward to staying here again.

When we arrived the house was not as clean as we expected. I left some early feedback to let the property owners know that a full plate of mouldy food had been left in the microwave, the WIFI didn’t work and cobwebs were everywhere. I was also disappointed with a lot of areas of the house that needed touch ups - paint near the bench in the kitchen that was noticeable and an eyesore. No hand wash provided and only one toilet roll for a big house. It didn’t feel homely at all.
I went stay again, it’s not suitable for children.

The apartment was well presented and was almost perfect. When charging the battery for my wife's mobility scooter I unplugged the lamp on the dining table, the battery normally takes about two hours to charge, I was watching and waiting for the red light to go green but it didn't. When I got home I put the battery on charge and it worked as it should. I noticed when charging in the apartment the brick part of charger was getting quite warm this didn't happen when charging at home.
We all enjoyed our time in Whitby and will be back soon but would prefer a ground floor apartment if possible next time.

Good communication from host, lovely and convenient location. Quiet, pretty, immaculate flat. Easy parking. Comfortable in every way.

This is a luxury apartment with excellent facilities, we really enjoyed staying there.

Had a lovely stay in this property for a week.Was spotlesly clean on arrival and so easy to book and get too.Its in a great location for a 15 minute walk into whitby (shortcut between number 16) along the coastline and short drive into robinhood bay and goathland (heartbeat village).Nice and quiet with everything close by,what more could you ask for.

There were positives & negatives to staying here. Positives being there’s a beautiful view from top balcony and the place has been made very homely with pictures & ornaments. It’s very well equipped aswell. First negative was the day I booked when Booking.com should have taken half the money but took full amount and I was outside the 75 days of holiday. They don’t tell you there are 120 steps to encounter each time you go out which is fine if you are perfectly mobile.
Parking was a real issue as you can’t park outside the property, car park is down the steps and costs £13 per day. The property overall is ok but the balconies need a good clean and the furniture out there is very dated and rotting.
