Cost was great!

Website was easy to use. Cost was more than fair. Experienced one of your pillows after a hotel stay and had to find them! I do wish you could buy just one or two, but hey now I have xmas gifts!

Hotels4Humanity scam company

I placed an order through Hotels4Humanity.com on October 17 for 3 king size Downlite Enviroloft duvet inserts for $189. On October 22 I received an email from PayPal informing me that the merchant had sent a refund. I received no information about my order being cancelled from Hotels4Humanity. There was no communication or reason whatsoever since they are still selling the same product on their website for the same price that I paid. It is not reported as out of stock. In addition, the fill weight of the item I tried to purchase has now changed which indicates a lack of honesty and transparency in the company.

Hi Chris—thanks again for speaking with me right after you placed your order. Your Oct 17 order was submitted during a temporary pricing sync error, and I wasn’t certain we could ship at that price after the supplier updated its catalog and costs. Once I confirmed the discrepancy, we issued a full PayPal refund on Oct 22. We should also have sent a clear cancellation email—my apologies that you didn’t receive one. To avoid further confusion, we’ve temporarily hidden all downlite products while we verify the correct specs and pricing with our supplier. When the page returns, it will reflect the manufacturer’s current spec sheet. I’d like to make this right with 10% off the correct price and free shipping. Please feel free to call me directly at 605-858-0545.

Be prepared for long shipping times.

9/8/2025 Updated review: I did eventually receive my order and the business owner reached out so I am updating the review. I would have appreciated more communication and customer service in the process. Their web presence makes it seem like a much bigger company than it is and that added to the frustration from not receiving a response. Now I'm aware that it's a small family run business, which I do like knowing I'm supporting them with business. I hope they can find a way to be more responsive with their clients.

Previous review:
I ordered towels on July 12th and haven't received any shipping information. I had to call, text and email before I received a response that only said 'we shipped your items' with no other information. I asked for a tracking number. The response said he'd look into it, but I haven't heard anything.

A duplicate purchase order with our supplier caused your towels to be mis-shipped, and at the same time I had a serious family emergency in July and August. I dropped the ball on keeping you informed, and I take full responsibility.

Your order has since been delivered, and I want you to know we’ve improved our processes to prevent this from happening again. I deeply appreciate your patience, and if you feel the matter is resolved, I’d be grateful if you might consider updating or removing your review.

I placed an order on July 9th and have yet to receive my product or any type of shipping confirmation. My money of course has been deducted from my banking account. I have emailed X 3 with absolutely NO RESPONSE.
