Sanders er sindssygt hyggeligt, men også sindssygt dyrt iforhold til hvad man får.
Deres drinks minder mere om et shot, hvor de har puttet en isklump på størrelse med en professorterning i et lille vandglas. Det er ok, man betaler for kvalitet men her er der kejsers nye klæder.

Kan på ingen måde anbefale Hotel Sanders.

Jeg boede her på min fødselsdag og fik stort set ikke sovet på grund af massiv støj fra både gangen og værelset ovenover. Da jeg klagede, blev jeg først lovet kompensation og derefter mødt med et tilbud om 10 % – senere 20 % efter jeg protesterede og sagde det svarede til 400 kr for at jeg ikke havde fået min nattesøvn (!?) – uden nogen reel forståelse for situationen. Bo aldrig på værelse 202! Aldrig har jeg oplevet noget ligenende - det er slet ikke i orden. Værelset ligger ud til trappeopgangen ved siden af en elevator og en hoveddør ind til alle de andre værelser - tre steder folk går ind og ud af hele tiden. Og jeg har fået 800 kr tilbage, så vanvittig dårlig service.

Det mest sigende var måske svaret fra hotellet bagefter: De fremhævede, at de håbede, jeg havde nydt den cocktail, de havde givet mig…. Jeg drikker ikke alkohol. Det blev givet til mig fordi jeg fylde år - ikke fordi der var larm hele natten! Hvor ufint kan det være at fremhæve i en sag der handlede om at få noget så basalt som sin søvn, på et såkaldt “luksus” hotel

For mig er det et meget tydeligt billede på hotellets manglende situationsfornemmelse og kundeservice. Jeg føler mig på ingen måde mødt eller set som kunde her - helt forfærdelig oplevelse, så upersonligt.

Hotel Sanders markets itself on discretion, personalised service, and a “curated stay” experience. My recent four-night visit fell far short of all three.
Shortly after arrival, a personal incident was handled by front desk staff in a way that left me feeling my privacy had been seriously compromised. Details of that interaction — highly specific, private information — were subsequently raised with me by multiple members of staff, including a waiter, who had no conceivable reason to be privy to them. Rather than feeling like a valued guest, I felt gossiped about, watched, and deeply uncomfortable throughout my stay. As a result I was unable to enjoy the hotel’s dining, common areas, or amenities — the very things I had paid a premium for.
Beyond the privacy concerns, the staff were notably young and inexperienced. When I asked for dining and entertainment recommendations — a basic expectation at any luxury property, let alone one that promises a curated experience — I received little help. I ultimately had to visit a neighbouring hotel, Hotel d’Angleterre, to get concierge assistance. The overall atmosphere felt more like a summer camp than a luxury hotel.
The rooftop conservatory, one of the property’s signature spaces, was also closed on two of my four evenings with no explanation. On one occasion I was told I could “take a quick look but not stay.”
On the billing front, the full cost of my stay was charged to my card on the day of arrival without my knowledge or prior notice. This is not standard practice at any hotel, luxury or otherwise. I also had to repeatedly request an invoice before leaving — I was told it would be emailed — and it never was.
When I raised my concerns formally, it took three separate emails to reach the General Manager, with guest relations staff acting as gatekeepers throughout. Once I did reach her, she was dismissive and declined to offer any resolution or goodwill gesture despite conducting two internal reviews.
For the price point, the gap between what is promised and what is delivered is significant. I would not return and cannot recommend.

EXCEPTIONEL EXPERIENCE.
Just spent the weekend in “Wonderful, wonderful Copenhagen….. - and what a wonderful boutique hotel Sanders is. The atmosphere is very warm and friendly, and all the members of the staff really make you feel so much at home. The smiling staff is correct, polite, attentive, professional and international. It is evident they are well coached and all carry the Sanders DNA under the skin. Service was fast and we never felt we were waiting. Whatever was prepared in the kitchen was of very high standard. We enjoyed breakfast and lunch at Sanders both days, and every bite - as well as wine served - was of exquisite standard. Breakfast is partly a buffet, but you can also select from a quite large á la carte menu, we really enjoyed the spirit of the roof top as a quiet beginning of the day. Friday afternoon 5-o’clock wine was served “on the house” in the court yard and the living room area.
Very high cleaning standard, and all the interiors of good quality. Room staff made you feel at home and welcome with small details like pulling the curtains, putting fresh water and glass on the bed side table while we were out. Small details that count!
Only improvement we can possible think of could be a second arm chair in the room.
It was our first, but definately not our last stay at Sanders. It is a highly recommendable, high class hotel on a very attactive address in a quite street, just befind the Royal Theatre in the very centre of Copenhagen.

Julegløgg i hyggelige omgivelser, men!
Gløgg der er lunken og uden smag til 160 kr glasset er horribelt !!

Virkelig hyggelig stemning, men julemaden i restauranten var den dårligste julemad, jeg nogensinde har smag. Brunede kartofler med skrald på, flæskesteg der smagte virkelig dårligt osv osv. og så var tjenerne fraværende. Simpelthen så ærgerligt når stedet er så flot og hyggeligt.

Har netop besøgt hotellet for byde min familie på et glas gløgg. Bestilte 3xhvid gløgg og en kop the. Fik serveret tre glas lunken - hvad der smagte mest af æblejuice - og ingen smag af krydderier eller alkohol. Skuffet men 550 kr lettere.

Vi fik to glas "signatur" gløgg lørdag aften til 330,-!
Gløggen var lunken, den duftede dejligt, men smagte kedelig og nærmest blot af lun rødvin. Rosinerne var hårde og der var ingen mandler i. To småkager til hver, som ifølge skiltet var fra Juno bageri, men som var ligeså ligegyldige i smagen som gløggen. Betjeningen var overfladisk og det lykkedes mig ikke på noget tidspunkt at have øjenkontakt. Til den pris, havde vi forventet en helt anden standard. Eneste plus, var de gode uldtæpper og vores eget fantastisk selskab.

I used to be such a fan of this place but recently the service had decreased a lot, I was there on my birthday 6th September and it was such a a disappointment. Today I tried again and I got Anna as a waitress, she was so rude and got the bill wrong, we paid as we had a baby with us and didn’t wanna wait for the manager, we ask for it and waited more than 10 min… we ended up leaving … again with a bad taste in our mouth. I loved the place but the service now is terrible. I wanna also congratulate Gemma and Miguel Angelo at the restaurant and Ofc Logan at tata, he is amazing.

I used to come often and loved sanders & tata, today i went there for my birthday and the waiter was very rude, he is the only one from Greece (don't get me wrong, I love that Country and i only make it as a reference because I already forgot his name), I was waiting for a friend and he asked me more than 3 times if i was leaving even when i ordered a meal and a drink and the indoor restaurant was empty ( I stayed less than 45 min). It was such a shame because the service there used to be excellent. Hopefullyyou will get another personto providethe serviceyou deserve, I will not come back soon tho.

Jeg skulle betale for drinks og fik at vide, mit kort ikke virkede. Betalte med et andet. Nu trak de alligevel fra begge kort. Og de svarer ikke emails - rigtig ringe.

God service. Fantastisk hjemmelavet is, kan anbefales.

Excellent very cosy hotel in the heart of Copenhagen.

Often comes to this hotspot in Copenhagen, where the setting is unique and homely, but left the restaturent very disappointed yesterday. Love seafood and on the menu they had a "Seafood Tagliatelle - Squid ink, blue mussels, samphire, parsley,
chili, garlic, lemon, crab & grilled octopus "
It may be I was unlucky - but we had to look far for those mentioned - counted 3 mussels and 1 piece. squid arm, cut into strips for a total price of 288 DKK.

Am fully aware that money needs to be made, but rarely have I felt so cheated. Made our waiter aware of my observations, and just got the message; that she would pass the message on to the chef and was not aware of how they calculated price versus content on their menu ... so dear chef, please serve food where content reflects price going forward

Very nice restaurant. A waiter opened the door, the receptionist was totally on top of our booking (had added "the little extra" and our waiter very attentive and professional. Very nice food (had the 4 course menu). Great value for money. Highly recommendable.

Jeg kommer der regelmæssigt for at spille Skak i rolige og behagelige omgivelser.
Service er i absolut top, især baren hvor vi hænger meget ud, har verdenens bedste personale.
Jeg kan virkelig kun anbefale at besøge Hotellet og hilse på deres fantastiske personale, spise, drikke, eller hvad lysten nu må være til.
Jeg kommer igen næste uge, uden tvivl :)

Just left their restsurant after a fantastisk lunch .... in a twisted way ... the food was really good .... but the service was absolutely non-existing .... not attentive, not communicating, not smiling ... an not upselling. What a shame ... and even more so when learned this is not the first time they have this feedback.
