I booked a 3 hour session with Dave Bebb prior to my interview (Driver Manager Interview) for the role of train driver earlier this week.
Having been involved in interviewing in a previous role I nearly didn't, not being sure how much I would benefit but I would recommend to anyone, regardless of previous experience as either interviewee or interviewer. The session gave me some helpful pointers and new approaches that I'd certainly use again if I ever need to attend an interview again.
I'm happy to report I passed the interview and I have been offered the role.

His knowledge of the train driver recruitment process is exceptional, and his coaching style is both encouraging and focused.

Since working with Dave, my confidence has grown massively and I feel far more prepared. If you're considering investing in your application, don't hesitate, it's worth every penny.

The way they make it very difficult to end subscriptions is quite onerous. How frustrating that you get charged again for a month, when they do not provide you with a reminder email regarding the end of your 'free term' and NOWHERE does it say on your settings/profile area HOW to cancel subscription.

How misleading when your profile says 'you have no active memberships' but then you get charged anyway? If you have to Google how to leave this subscription and you find out through external forums that you need to email them to end your subscription, then that should be considered predatory. Shameful.

I joined a free Trainee Train Driver application Q&A session with Dave Bebb the night before my MMI, and his insight was so helpful (and timely!) that I decided to do a 1:1 session with him after I’d passed. His thoughtful approach, tried and tested interview techniques and industry insights were exactly what I needed to elevate my approach to the interview and boost my confidence.

After this initial 1:1 session, I booked Dave to do a mock interview with me, so that we could isolate any areas that needed work so I could finesse these ahead of my DMI. And I’m thrilled to say that I passed!

Signed up to gain access to psychometric test information for train driver assessment. The content was very useful and made the testing process less nerve wracking. After passing this I contacted How2 to have a 1-1 session and they put me in touch with Mr David Bebb. Dave was helpful and his advice honest and constructive, always found the time to message and call. I passed all of my assessments and my interviews!!! Can’t thank Dave enough 😊

Extremely out of date Royal Navy officer guide. Sounds like it was written in the mid 2010s at latest. Questions don't reflect the current recruitment process and the language is quite archaic. Phrases like 'Surf the Web' and talking about what newspapers you should read sounds like mid 2000s. Very disappointing for how expensive it is. To add to that they also automatically subscribe you to something and you need to manually email them to unsubscribe. Shocking.

I used how2become for their Royal Navy Defence Aptitude Assessment preparation. I am applying to become a Royal Marines Officer and had failed my first attempt. Finding some reviews supporting how2become I decided to buy their guide for £10 and by no means was I disappointed. There is no resource out there that comes even close to the accuracy with which the resources prepare you for the DAA. I was blown away with just how much is given for only £10, I can say without a doubt how2become is the primary reason I passed my DAA on the second attempt and am now progressing towards becoming an RM Officer. My only suggestion for them would be to review the spatial awareness section 2 material. On the DAA, 3D objects, such as toy cars or pencil holders, are used instead of just 3D shapes.

I have been charge recurrent payments for the past months from this website when I just got access to their "free" material. When I access my account it says that I have no active memberships, but I continue to be charged by a monthly recurrent amount with no option of exiting.

Dave Bebb is a great person to have on your team. Throughout the entire journey of progressing through the stages to become a trainee train driver, I genuinely felt his support every step of the way. I worked with Dave one-to-one ahead of both OPC assessment stages and again before my DMI, and his guidance was invaluable in my successfully passing all stages of the process.

He helped me understand exactly how to prepare and what to expect at each stage, and he also gave me the confidence to believe in myself as a strong candidate. Dave is not only highly knowledgeable but also a genuinely kind and encouraging person.

What a scam! They keep charging your card even after you’ve canceled your membership—or worse, even if you never had one. This is absolutely unacceptable and unethical. Please be very cautious before putting any amount of money into this website. Their practices are misleading and dishonest. Shame on them!

The YouTube videos by Richard McMunn were really helpful for my interview practice! The tips were clear, practical, and easy to apply. I felt much more confident going into my interviews after watching them. Definitely recommend for anyone preparing for job interviews!
